Joe and Mark talking about RCA's 30 point bench boost on Scoutcast Extra Time.

For anyone interersted, here is RCA's original thoughts about BB in GW1 from 11 days ago https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/comment/18498606

I also had 30 points on my bench (without a playing GK as well), so I'm envious of RCA's move. Whether you agree with his decision or not, it worked on this occassion. He now doesn't have to worry about the BB for the rest of the season as he's already been boosted massively. The onus in on us to beat his boost later on.

    1. Botman and Robben
      • 9 Years
      7 years, 7 months ago

People who used BB in GW1 and got 30-ish points on bench played it well. I always use mine during DGWs and have never got that 30.

In a mini league I'm in with RCA there were higher BB bench scores 😉

I believe you, but I don't have their rationale to hand.

It was discussed in detail and the rationale was pretty much the same. Good chance of getting 15 starters, easier to navigate the ggw's and effectively able to play wc and bb in the same week. Here's one of the others

Right decided (K)un. Bit confused about why the guardian seem sure he wont start, but if you cant (c) him this week when can you?! if he is benched then i dont really think there is much point in having him this season. So ill probably just switch to auba next week. Thoughts??

      - agreed. With KDB's absence I think Kun is even more essential to City's attack. Remember how Pep was talking him up before the Arsenal game last week? Was disappointed-looking when he was substituted too last week so I feel he'll be rearing to gtomorrow.

Not the worst, but common and silly imo. The logic almost makes sense when picking your team, because you likely factored Kun captaincy in GW2 into your decision to buy him. But using the logic at this point is a refusal to use any information that's accumulated since the GW1 deadline.

Need to start 1 out of Tomkins, Peltier, AWB. Any thoughts?

I'm leaning towards Tomkins because I think his chances of scoring from set pieces is greater than Peltier's chances of keeping a cs

    Captain Eriksen anyone

Scared of Huddersfield playing anti football as an Aguero owner and palace not rolling over for Liverpool as a mane owner

Need a little input on the choices below. Who to start?

    A) PVA
    B) Peltier

    And

    A) Neves
    B) Zaha

Cardiff clean sheet is unlikely, but probably more so than a PVA assist, would you say?
Neves had a dream start so only sensible to give him another run out, especially as ownership is now so high. Zaha unlikely to score.

I know if sounds like I've answered my own question, but would appreciate your thoughts!
