After a barnstorming match between Cardiff City and Arsenal on Sunday lunchtime, the two 16:00 BST kick-offs at Vicarage Road and Turf Moor bring Gameweek 4 to an end.

Tottenham Hotspur have made three changes to the side that beat Manchester United last Monday, with Ben Davies (£5.8m), Davinson Sanchez (£5.9m) and Michel Vorm (£4.9m) – in for the injured Hugo Lloris (£5.5m) – the men to come in. Danny Rose (£5.9m) and Eric Dier (£4.9m) drop to the bench.

Sanchez’s inclusion means that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are set to employ a 3-5-2 formation this afternoon, with Lucas Moura (£7.2m) possibly set to join Harry Kane (£12.5m) in attack – as the Brazilian did in the 3-1 win over Fulham. Moura was the second-most-bought player of Gameweek 4, being drafted in by more than half a million Fantasy Premier League managers.

Watford, meanwhile, are unchanged for the fourth successive league match.

The injured Phil Jones (£5.2m) is one of three players to drop out of Jose Mourinho’s starting XI, with Fred (£5.8m) and Ander Herrera (£5.0m) forced to watch on from the bench.

Alexis Sanchez (£10.2m), Marouane Fellaini (£5.0m) and Victor Lindelof (£4.9m) earn a reprieve to the United first team, which looks on paper to be a 4-3-3 following the wing-back experiment of Gameweek 3.

United are yet to keep a clean sheet this season (having recorded a league-high 19 in 2017/18) and David De Gea (£5.9m) – the most-sold goalkeeper of this round – has the worst save percentage of all the Premier League shot-stoppers this campaign.

Having naming an unchanged team for his side’s first three league matches, Sean Dyche has rotated his full-backs, with Charlie Taylor (£4.5m) and Phil Bardsley (£4.4m) replacing Stephen Ward (£4.9m) and Matthew Lowton (£4.9m).

An injury to Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£5.9m) means that 18-year-old Dwight McNeil gets a start on the left flank.

Burnley XI: Hart; Taylor, Tarkowski, Mee, Bardsley; Cork, Hendrick, Westwood, Lennon, McNeil; Wood.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; Fellaini, Matic, Pogba; Lingard, Lukaku, Sanchez.

Watford XI: Foster; Janmaat, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas; Hughes, Capoue, Doucoure, Pereyra; Deeney, Gray.

Spurs XI: Vorm; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Davies; Dembele, Eriksen, Dele; Lucas, Kane.

    Pickford
    Alonso | Mendy | Robertson | Luiz
    Salah | Mané | Dilva | Neves
    Aguero | Zaha*

    Stek | AWB | Stephens | Kamara | 1FT & 0.1ITB

    A) Zaha -> Ings/WIlson
    B) Salah -> Hazard

Pickford is also a waste of space.

    1. Shineonme

Salah to hazard is the sensor move

    2. Lemongrab

      WC draft any thoughts?

      Patricio - Hamer
      Alonso - Mendy - Robbo - Bennet - AWB
      Mane - Dilva - Fraser - Hazard - Neves
      Lacazette - Kun - Ings

Laca too knee jerky? No Salah a worry but pool fixtures awful and can't squeeze him and Hazard in.

      Any advice welcome!

Pickford might do alright when the CB situation is settled. Also handy that he has a 4.0 backup.

  6. Flynny

Hi. Any views on firmino and mkhi to hazard and 6m striker (deeney, Jimenez etc) for a hit?

      Similar thinking here.

      Patricío Hamer
      Robertson Alonso Mendy AWB Bednarek
      Salah Mkhi* Moura Fraser Stephens
      Aguero Firmino* Zaha

My issue is having to monitor Zaha.

      I want Hazard and Deeney/Wilson.

  7. Mortal.Swinbat

Would you keep Mitrovic on a wild card?

    Have Wilson already

Have Pereyra and Holebas for Watford (but could change Pereyra) so no to Deeney

    Ings and save money?

    Zaha/Arnie

    1. Touré De Force
      8 years, 1 month ago

I can't think of one good reason you wouldn't

    2. jomikijiq

Mitro looks like the best mid price forward right now imo

    3. Krionos
      8 years, 1 month ago

I think Mitrovic is a keeper for me. His stats are great. Ings and Wison are also good alternatives in my opinion, but so far Mitrovic is the standout. He has aerial threat, penalties, free kicks, you name it.

      1. OldBenKenobi
        8 years, 1 month ago

        His on FKs too?

  8. OldBenKenobi

Really don’t want to make early transfers before the international break but I’ve exact funds to do Auba + Zaha > Aguero + Mitro -4

My TV is already low (100.4) and it’s beginning to restrict my moves.

Risky it or hold out and get the likes of Ings instead of Mitro?

    1. The 12th Man

      Or Deeney?

      1. OldBenKenobi

        Or Wilson I guess

        1. The 12th Man

Listened to FPL General pod a couple of weeks ago. He was priced out of Mkhitarian because of a rise because he waited. He just moved to the next best option he could afford.
          Pedro
Worked out better for him. Patience. Let the game pick his players.
          I found this advice helpful.

            8 years, 1 month ago

I doubt I'd sell Auba with their next few fixtures. Just Zaha to Mitro, though I'd prefer Mitro from GW6. If you can wait on Zaha news that might be better.

      2. Krionos
        8 years, 1 month ago

Aubameyang is not showing a lot of threat though. The goal today was from range, but he is not getting into dangerous positions at all. He has very few shots in the box and shots on target.

        1. OldBenKenobi
          8 years, 1 month ago

Yeah he was quiet all day except for that goal

  9. nelluckram

    Hart
    Alonso Mendy AWB
    Salah Mané Mkhi Pedro
    Aguero(c) Arnie Wilson

    Hamer Robbo CHO Peltier

Is Peltier-> Bennet a sensible use of a FT before he drops in price?

If so, start 1 of him or AWB?

    1. OldBenKenobi
      8 years, 1 month ago

Risky before 2 week break. Any £ ITB to wait it out?

Had Vardy last season for a run of:

    BUR / new / sou / PAL

Leicester scored 8 goals in that run, winning 3 & losing 1.

Vardy returned a grand total of ONE assist.

I binned him, he then scored VS Man Utd & Liverpool. Good fixtures don’t mean points for JV9. Just a wee warning.

    I panicked and pressed WC...

    First draft looks like this:

    Ryan (Hamer)
    Mendy - Robbo - Alonso - Holebas - Wan-Biss
    Mane - Hazard - Dilva - Maddison - Fraser
    Kun - Mitro - Ings

    0.4 ITB

Too inflexible in terms premium strikers hitting form?
Can Mane do the job for Salah also longer term?
Is Dilva worth a punt, or rather go with other options lees rotation prone?

    Cheers

    1. Shineonme

Mane and Laca look great but salah and Zaha are also good picks. You also have the headache of Laca rotating. I'm sure he will start the next game but arsenal will rotate while the manager finds the best balance.

How's this for a WC team?

    Foster / Patricio
    Robertson / Mendy / Shaw / AWB / Alonso
    Salah / Mane / (Richarlison) / Stephens / Fraser
    Aguero / Mitrovic / Ings

Benching Richarlison for GW 5 of course

    1. WesMantooth
      8 years, 1 month ago

Think you can be starter with your gks
Is Salah mane and robbo a must with the upcoming schedule? Youve tripled the team with the most difficult fixtures.

Some James to consider: Sterling, hazard, Aubameyang, PVA, Bellend, wilson

Cfc, arse, bmouth and cp have outstanding fixtures. Think you could be able town xploit that better.
