Eden Hazard’s 20-point haul in Gameweek 5 has left the Scoutcast team in shock.

For David and Joe, the Chelsea man’s fine early-season form has seen them fire up their Wildcards as they look to rip up their teams to accommodate him.

Az is still without the Belgian but is more than a little concerned he will miss out on another monster score.

Andy, meanwhile, has been left reeling from a fine score of his own, having already swooped for the winger prior to his hat-trick against Cardiff.

In this gimmick-free Scoutcast, the team go back to basics as they ponder the “essential” status of Hazard as well as the other key Fantasy issues of the week posed by the community.

This includes a look at the array of talent in the Wolves defence, the exceptional value offered by Bournemouth’s midfield sensation Ryan Fraser and pinpointing teams’ vulnerabilities.

Elsewhere, benching issues take centre stage in our “rough with the smooth” round-up and the team also find time to consider the best differentials and likeliest clean sheets in Gameweek 6.

This Scoutcast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

I understand Mendy - surely a surprise if he’s risked against a team with no goal threat like Cardiff given he spent most of last season out with a cruciate - but why a rotation risk like Trippier? It’s not as if Spurs are in particularly good form despite their upcoming fixtures.

Giving pens and fouls for unintentional handball is one of the biggest plagues in the game. Officials just don't seem to grasp the ball to hand concept. Never a penalty.

    1. George Sillett
      • 10 Years
      7 years, 11 months ago

      Just one question :-

Have you ever reffed or ran a line on a regular basis ?

      1. Jet5605
        • 12 Years
        7 years, 11 months ago

That's irrelevant. I have seen some refs correctly identify ball to hand and not give a pen. It's not all down to officials. VAR badly needed.

        1. George Sillett
          • 10 Years
          7 years, 11 months ago

It's completely relevant. There are so many things going on simultaneously in a game of football that sometimes it is impossible to confidently monitor every event. Try doing it yourself - it is a real eye opener. I agree with the VAR comment though.

    2. Zladan
      • 9 Years
      7 years, 11 months ago

I disagree. Maybe outfield they can be let go, but in the penalty box preventing a goal scoring opportunity they have to be given. Who is to say he didn’t intentionally leave an arm there. Very easy to act innocent.

      1. Zladan
        • 9 Years
        7 years, 11 months ago

Not that I’m saying in a specific case it was intentional, but the scenario could occur.

You're effectively saying that manslaughter is as bad as murder. In tonight's case the defender knew nothing about it and couldn't move his arm out of the way in time.
