Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) is expected to be the favourite for the captain debate in Gameweek 7.

We’ve started our poll to ascertain what the Fantasy Football Scout community are thinking for the next round of matches.

With Chelsea and Liverpool going head-to-head on Saturday afternoon, options such as Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) and Eden Hazard (£11.0m) are unlikely to score well in the upcoming vote.

That may mean that Harry Kane (£12.4m) and Romelu Lukaku (£11.1m) receive more attention than usual.

Both strikers have favourable fixtures, against Huddersfield and West Ham respectively, and have found some form in recent weeks.

Differentials may well be found at Goodison Park with Richarlison (£6.6m) the likeliest to take advantage of Fulham’s defensive frailties.

However, Everton’s back-line has been almost as poor as the Cottagers’ in 2018/19, opening the door for Aleksandar Mitrovic (£7.0m) to get a look in too.

Make sure you vote in the poll and watch our latest video analysing the Gameweek 7 captaincy debate.

Palace have kept 3 cleansheets in the 4 games that Tomkins has played. Arsenal have kept 1 all season. Definitely not PVA to Bellerin.

United not looking great at the back either.

    My current back line is:

    Robertson - DLuiz - W-Bis (Bennett - Tomkins)

What combination would you play this GW?

What are the chances that Aguero plays less than 60 mins ?

How many goals can Brighton conceive in 60 mins ?

CL is now top priority for Man City and I am quite afraid

Relatively high I think. Mahrez was actually being readied at about 57 mins - just wasn't a natural stop in play so quite lucky he even made it to 60.

All eyes on tonight & any press conference hints but I'm getting the yips over captaining him.

Depends on the score. If they're winning comfortably he could come off early but you'd hope he's already in the points if that's the case. If it's 0-0 or 1-0 I don't see him being subbed.

        penalty records:
        Jimenez 13/13
        Moutinho 12/15*
        Costa 5/6
        Neves 1/2
        Jota 1/1

think Jimenez has scored one and missed one for Mexico since these numbers - wouldn't surprise me one bit if he took it

    Henn/Pat
    Alonso, Robbo, Mandy, AWB, Doch
    Haz, Salah, Fraser, Maddison, Hoij
    Kun, Mitro, Wilson

    .2itb, 2 FT

I can't really find any move that I like. Am I to just lose my free transfer then?

    Hoijberg to Ward?

    1. jomikijiq

I think in your position I'd have a think about which double-up you want longer-term out of Wolves and Palace.

Then drop one of Henn/Pat/AWB/Doch to some fodder.

I wouldn't do Hoj to Ward personally.

      1. Pacer.
        • 12 Years
        8 years, 12 days ago

I thinking I will do Maddison to Richarlison for the very favourable short term fixtures. I have my eye on AWB and Doherty as they have several weeks where horrible fixtures coincide and I don't want Hoijberg as first sub. Richarlison also frees up .2 which may be vital come fixture swings for cheap players

        1. Shatner's Bassoon
          • 8 Years
          8 years, 12 days ago

Not the worst move - the next three are the stickiest in Leicester's run of games. Not sure I'd do it though.

Given you own Wilson it might be better to upgrade Fraser to Richy - possibly funded by Mendy out...

Looks like you’re going to waste a FT. Keep Höjbjerg. If it was me, I’d switch Mendy to Laporte, though.

        8 years, 12 days ago

I've no reason to sub Mendy. I have decent fixtures from my bench in coming weeks and I don't really fancy tripper, laporte or any other option much more than keeping Mendy and 2FTs

Tbh I'd stick with that, it's a great team!

Madd > Rich is tempting, but it's pot luck as to who will score more in next 3 games.

You might pass on a FT but that will improve your OR, since if you're tied on points the lowest number of transfers ranks higher.

I think Zaha to Mitrovic is possibly worthwhile.

Also think Kepa AND Alonso vs Liverpool is overkill at the back, especially with Salah and Mane. They also play United in GW9.

I'd look at getting a cheaper GK for the long haul - Patricio could be good as you've got no other Wolves DF. Just depends if you're averse to a goalie transfer.

Tough one. Don't have Salah or any Spurs assets, and I won't captain Hazard for this game.

Two I'm looking at outside Aguero would be Lacazette and Richarlison purely based on decent home fixtures - but Watford are pretty good at the back overall, usually just concede 1 or 2 per game. Arsenal looked a tad laborious against Everton... maybe due to EL admittedly.

Fulham's defence is atrocious, but can I really trust an Everton player (with fairly poor discipline) with the armband?

Maybe I'll just go for some Monday night razmatazz and whack it on Fraser / PVA!!

Cheers chaps. Not keen on Kane at the mo. Gonna stick and hope for the best. Reckon 2 FT's will come in handy. Save my WC for the crimbo fixture list pile up!

    Patricio (Henn)
TAA, AWB, Alonso (S Cook, Mendy*)
    Haz, MAddi, Mane, DSilva (Traoré)
    Kun, Mitro, Ings

1ft thinking about getting rid of Ings, Mendy, Mane or SCook

    1) Mane + Ings > Richar + Laca and -4
    2) Mendy > Trippier
    3) Mane > Richarlison
    4) Cook > Doherty

    Pick one!

I have Aguero and Salah but will be captaining Salah. I always fancy Liverpool to score well against the big teams as they play open. Haven't been impressed with Chelsea and any good attacking team will be able to get at them I feel. Salah has been close to haul's now for several weeks with his underlying stats as well.
