David, Andy and Az join me to discuss the best strategy for dealing with these tricky ties when so many highly owned players are squaring up against each other.

We also consider the merits of bringing in the likes of Everton talisman Richarlison (£6.6m) and Arsenal’s newly sure-starting striker Alexandre Lacazette (£9.4m), as they answer the community’s questions.

Tapping into Spurs’ fine fixture run, and in particular, the improving form of Harry Kane (£12.4m), is also on the bill. But will Andy’s ambitious plan to swoop for the Tottenham forward leave him with egg on his face?

    I’m planning on using my wildcard in a couple of game weeks but in the meantime i'm thinking of doing the following for -4 points.

    Technically, if we were to wildcard in GW9, and wanted to drop one of our Liverpool mids, wouldn't Salah be the best option for those that have had both since the start since we've already made money on Mane and can get Salah back in the wildcard for probably around what we bought him for? i.e. Mane/Salah > Hazard for the next two and get/keep one of the Liverpool mids on our WC.

      It depends on when you WC, but I think a double up on Liverpool defenders is shaping up to be the best move, rather than a double up on their attack. So if you want Salah over Mané in a few GWs, then there's not necessarily much point in keeping Mané for value conservation.

      I don’t get the whole “made money on Mané”. You haven’t realised this profit until you actually sell him.

      If Salah is the one outperforming him, clearly you’d want Salah.

      Salah is still a good option v Chelsea imo.
