Aside from all the talk about Harry Kane, there are still several differential options available in Gameweek 8.

We’ve picked out three more players owned by less than 5% of Fantasy Premier League managers who can help propel you up the overall rankings.

This week we are turning to assets at Leicester City, Wolves and Manchester United.

Jamie Vardy (£8.9m)

Ownership: 4.8%

A Gameweek 2 sending off and the success of James Maddison (£6.9m) has hit Jamie Vardy‘s (£8.9m) ownership hard in the early part of 2018/19. But the Leicester City man is still a great option to own for Gameweek 8.

In the last four Gameweeks, only four players have registered more shots on target than Vardy. He also ranks joint-third for shots inside the box and is still on penalties for Leicester City.

His next opponents are an Everton side still with just one clean sheet to their name in 2018/19. Vardy is especially fond of the Toffees having scored four times and assisted twice in his last five Premier League matches against them. In that run, he has won two penalties, scoring two himself.

Vardy looks like a good option for long-term investment too with Arsenal (away), West Ham (home), Cardiff (away), Burnley (home) and Brighton (away) also coming up in the next six Gameweeks.

Adama Traoré (£5.5m)

Ownership: 0.6%

Adama Traoré (£5.5m) may not have started a match for Wolves yet, but he is certainly pushing for one. The rapid winger has promised attacking returns if he can get some more minutes on the pitch.

In the last four Gameweeks, Traore has managed five shots on target, the same as Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.9m). He has achieved that in a fraction of the minutes, registering just 105 to Aguero’s 271 and Salah’s 317.

Wolves go to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in Gameweek 8 and look like they will have plenty of opportunities to score. Only two sides have allowed more chances considered to be ‘big’ by Opta in home matches than Palace this season.

Chris Smalling (£5.8m)

Ownership: 2.2%

Any Manchester United player is going to be considered a differential for Gameweek 8 after their surprise defeat to West Ham last week.

However, the nature of their upcoming fixture demands some attention from Fantasy managers.

Newcastle United come to Old Trafford with just one away goal to their name this season. Furthermore, they have the lowest shot tally on the road in 2018/19 and are in the bottom efforts on target too.

A clean sheet looks on for Chris Smalling (£5.8m) and his United colleagues, and the centre-back promises some attacking threat too.

The Magpies are in the bottom three for set play attempts allowed away from home so far this season, and Smalling has already found the net once in 2018/19.

How I see this Kane getting in.

I think that defo Salah and Kun (who are being sold to get funds for Kane) are better long term so it isnt good long term move imo.
But if you have good plan to get him/them back like one move FT or WC it starts to be interesting idea.

Kane has Cardiff at home and as you plan to captain him it defo looks like good move. He has pens, scored last week and vs Barca. I honestly think that there is really small chance he will blank, really. It's Cardiff guys, can see some 3:0 easy there.
Now, Salah and Aguero play each other. As Liv plays home I'll give a bit more chance for Mo to get points than Kun but its just me. Dont think they that even if one of them score it's a chance for a brace. Most probably blank but bigger chance for Kane to get brace that Kun goal but its still my thinking.
Think its one of that moments where one, good decision can get you high like Kane get a brace and you captain or you miss that ocasion and say "yeah, its Cardiff. Why I didnt get him".
I imagine this scenario - Kun blank away vs Liv and Kane gets brace vs Cardiff home. Its 2pts vs 13pts.
Even if Aguero score cant see Kane blank somehow.

kun not scored in last 9 visits to anfield
can see why people doin kun to kane, can be reversed next week

Been thinking a lot of this too.

Looking at Palace's looming tough run of games, I'm tempted to make a more drastic move to bring in Kane:

Zaha, Ederson & D Silva to Kane, Hart and 4.8mid, mainly for the bench but for occasional games - Murphy a potential differential.

All that for -4 as I have 2FTs. Otherwise, it's Aguero and Ederson for Kane and Hart for free. What do you reckon?

There are other factors though. Kun & Mo are not a hedge, they conduct their business at opposite ends. Value lost on Kun can be important as can transfer opportunities elsewhere. Great if you have Auba to upgrade, less so if it's Kun and even worse if it's hits out and back for Mo.

Salah has been much more threatening over the last few weeks and should have scored a couple. I am wondering whether Mane can cover Salah over the good upcoming fixtures as that extra money saved is gold.

They don’t really prove anything they just give you an insight to a players involvement in a match and also tells you who’s getting the chances how many and how often

I will WC next week over the international break, was always the plan as have Kane in short terms and i'll need Salah and Hazard in (I know, no Hazard is a bad move). I have 1 FT so wondered which of the below is the best one week punt:

      Maddison
      Trippier
      Gudmundsson
      Mee
      D.Sanchez

I cant get Haz or Vardy in without a hit so they cant be an option

No Poolcover yet....get in TAA or Mane first? Salah and Robertson no option moneywise....

          Fab (Bego)
          Alonso Bennett AWB Pereira (Mendy)
Haz (c) Maddison Fraser Rich (Stephens)
          Kun Kane (Mitro)

Mendy & Rich -> Mane & max 4.4 def (after this GW)

          Or

Pereira or Mendy -> TAA but then i’m short on getting Mane...

Any changes to this FH team for this week? Main concerns were Shaw (Man U crap form) Son (apparently tired) and no Vardy. Cheers

Maddison (EVE) Gudmundsson (HUD) Hazard (sou) Son (CAR)
Arnautovic (bha) Lacazette (ful) Kane (c) (CAR)

      W-B 1st sub.

So you're recommending Hazard out and Richarlison in, yeah?!

You concerned about not having a FH chip when the blank gameweeks kick in?

Yes, I am concerned about that. However, in previous couple seasons I've only gained c.30 points using the chip in blank GWs, so hoping to exceed that, especially with Kane (c) who I don't want long term. Could well work out terribly though.
