As we approach Gameweek 11 of Fantasy Premier League we have got to work on updating our Watchlist.

It’s goalkeepers up first, with teams such as Brighton and West Ham began to get more attention for their budget options

Alisson (£5.6m) retains the top spot for another week even as Liverpool prepare for a trip to face Arsenal. After that, they still have home matches against Fulham and Everton as well as a trip to Burnley in Gameweek 15.

Ederson (£5.7m) has crept back above Kepa Arrizabalaga (£5.5m) but both goalkeepers are on the brink of reclaiming Favourable Fixture tags. Manchester City have some appealing home fixtures but they still face Manchester United and Chelsea in the next six Gameweeks. Maurizio Sarri’s men have excellent home matches before the defending champions come to Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 16, but they have to visit Spurs in Gameweek 13.

Mat Ryan (£4.5m) has risen to become the best of the rest after a third successive clean sheet recorded in Gameweek 10. The Brighton shot-stopper keeps his Favourable Fixtures tag on account of the fact that the Seagulls still sit top of the Season Ticker defence section for the next six Gameweeks.

Lukasz Fabianski (£4.5m) is up next with West Ham’s fixtures particularly appealing over the next six Gameweeks. Burnley and Huddersfield are the Hammers’ next two opponents and home matches against Cardiff and Crystal Palace are also on the horizon.

Kasper Schmeichel (£5.0m) comes in at sixth place although there is understandably some uncertainty over what future Gameweeks will hold for him. There had been suggestions that Leicester’s trip to Cardiff City this weekend would be postponed although it weas confirmed to be going ahead as planned on Tuesday.

Rui Patricio (£4.6m) has dropped several places following back-to-back clean sheet wipe-outs against favourable opponents. The next two matches look particularly tricky for Wolves with Spurs coming to Molineux in Gameweek 11 and a trip to Arsenal in Gameweek 12. However, it’s Huddersfield and Cardiff after that.

Martin Dubravka (£5.0m) remains at the lower end of the scale although he did register a first clean sheet since Gameweek 6 last time out. The Magpies could prove a source of defensive points as their run is, on paper, quite favourable.

Jordan Pickford (£4.9m) and Ben Foster (£4.5m) bring up the rear with their fixtures a little mixed. The Everton man could be used in a rotation as the Toffees have favourable opponents coming to Goodison Park between now and Gameweek 16 while their away trips are rather difficult. Foster has Unfavourable Fixtures attached to him as Watford must host Liverpool and Manchester City between now and Gameweek 15.

How close is mendy to a rise? Thinking about pulling the Kane, TAA to Aguero, Mendy trigger. Should I wait till I see lineups on Thursday. I can still afford him even if he rises but wanted to save the .1

20k net transfers required on FPLS, i wouldn't mind holding him for MNF but have the exact cash for > Arnie -4 (wanted to hold for next week but will be priced out).

Yeah he doesn’t look to be sold fast enough to drop by the deadline. Then hopefully he scores well against Huddersfield so that he doesn’t drop next week either giving plenty of time to decide on transfers.

Can't believe the scoutcasters are entertaining wandering straight back into benched striker/4-4-2 wastelands with Success. It's a long way there and a long way back lads :0

I really ought to understand this after all these years, but just to be on the safe side:

“The first wildcard will be available from the start of the season until 29 Dec 14:00”

GW20 begins after 1400 on the 29th, so if I leave my WC as late as possible I’ll be WC’ing DURING 19 in order to field my WC team in 20

    Correct?

now I'm so confused I don't know where I am or what my name is

    2. I believe you are correct. And don't feel bad about not knowing, everyone has usually pissed their WC up the wall long before now, let alone GW19! 🙂

You can use your wildcard on the morning of Saturday the 29th December.

The game will then lock down at 2pm 29th and your first wildcard if not used, has now gone forever.

So you play it the week Wednesday 26th 2:20pm - Saturday 29th 2pm as the last possible time to play it.

As soon as the game re-opens at around 2:20pm on the 29th, gameweek 20 is live and your wildcard is gone.

    Mane or Salah?

Doesn't everyone want to know that. Salah will outscore Mane over the season. The question is by how much.I personally have both so don't need to make a choice. But I would only pick Mane if I thought he was a good enough captain choice. Right now I think Salah has the edge as captain and so becomes the more important player to have.

Depends on you. Salah will probably outsource Mane all things being equal but the question is will it be worth the extra outlay? I personally think so but Salah is testing my faith

Things change so quickly. If Aguero gets double digits against Southampton which is easily possible, then would you really get rid of him? And Murray is not good enough imo. Plus if you already have Salah you are letting go of a captain choice for at least 1/3 of the weeks for someone you won't captain. Plus its exchanging a striker for a mid. You will need two transfers again to reverse. I could go on.. but I will end with the Kane example. At least people were captaining Kane. If you have Salah then you don't even have that.

I agree with that, Kun might get double digits and then things might change.

I would drop Patricio for a £4m keeper to free up some funds (Fabianski has good fixtures for a few weeks),

I would then upgrade Pereira for a City defender as they are much more likely to keep cleansheets. Maybe Mendy or Laporte?

The fact that you have Holebas suggests you may have bigger issues. He might not play. I wouldn't do this move. Just captain Mane. And if you are not confident about Mane then maybe you should think about Mane to Salah and not Salah and Mane by getting rid of Aguero who will again be a popular captaincy choice every two or three weeks throughout the season.

    B/ Mendy + Brooks + 1.0 ITB

I personally though getting him is wrong. Never considered him as he won't get goals, just assists. Got three fortunate goals (the direct Free kick being the least fortunate one). At 6.5/7 you would do much better with Trips, Mendy, Robertson, Alonso, Arnautovic.

Its a decent team. Hopefully KDB starts this week. If not then just do KDB to Mane next week. Can't go wrong against Fulham at home imo. Maybe King to Arnautovic and Ings to Success. Then use the money next week to upgrade someone like Gudmundsson or even Laporte to Mendy. If Arnie is fit.
