Medium-term planning takes centre stage in our latest Scoutcast as Joe, David, Luke and Az look ahead to a major swing in the fixtures next month.

With the season ticker turning in favour of the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal, and away from Liverpool, the Scoutcast crew are already hatching plans as they look to get one step ahead of the template.

Our community questions section focuses on which heavy hitters to ditch and which to bring in over the coming weeks. This includes a discussion on whether Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling has become “essential”, following his 21-point haul against Southampton at the weekend.

The season ticker comes under further scrutiny as we tackle the community’s questions about West Ham. With only one bad fixture from now until mid-January, it is no wonder the Hammers are attracting interest.

Our review of Gameweek 11 sees Luke’s maverick tendencies prevail, while Az, David and Joe continue to tread water with an unremarkable set of scores.

A very well-known manager who featured prominently on the wrong side of our regular ‘rough with the smooth’ round-up some weeks back returns, this time with a sensationally smooth points haul.

Elsewhere, Gameweek 12’s top differential and clean sheet predictions section features a cheeky chat about two Spurs midfielders.

The crew then finish off this packed one-hour-and-20-minute show by revealing their transfer and captaincy plans this weekend, with Liverpool’s enticing home clash with Fulham firmly on their minds.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

He kicked the ground twenty centimeters behind the ball. Either he is clumsy as hell or he was trying to convince the referees. Looking at his goal just five minutes ago I would say that he cannot be that clumsy. Noone was near him, so it didn't happen due to him being pushed or anything either.

Yeah was nothing to do with the other player, he was just clumsy in this instance. I have watched it over a few times now, he was running fast and tripped over his own feet when he tried to turn. It doesn't look to me like he meant to do it, was too comical.

I don't think he will do much v Utd. I think Mane is the man this weekend. Fulham are just horrible.

Not sure how much longer I can ignore Sterling when he’s in this form. Problem is the only way I can afford is Salah > Mane!

Yep, or go Aguero-less like Mark.

Either way, I'm starting to think I need Sterling...

How is Sterling not ashamed about that penalty?

Of course he didn’t mean to do it, but you could sportingly tell Jesus to sky the penalty.

Sorry mate but Jesus needed that goal badly. Bad timing..

Sterling is some craic isn't he, but he's FPL gold.

Lose Alonso or Mendy to get him in?

    Per BBC:

Of current Premier League players, only Sergio Aguero (14) has been involved in more goals in all competitions this season than Raheem Sterling (13 - seven goals, six assists).
