The final match of Gameweek 13 takes place this evening between Burnley and Newcastle United, with kick-off at Turf Moor delayed by half an hour to 20:30 GMT because of a “medical emergency” at the ground.

This fixture will be of limited interest to many Fantasy managers, with not a single player on show owned by more than 10% of us.

Joe Hart (£4.5m) boasts the highest ownership of the Fantasy Premier League assets featuring this evening, sitting in 9.0% of squads.

The former Manchester City goalkeeper comes into this match off the back of a 10-point haul against Leicester City in Gameweek 13, having kept a clean sheet at the King Power Stadium and topped up his returns with save and bonus points.

No Premier League goalkeeper has made more saves than Hart this season.

Both of Burnley’s most-owned outfielders, James Tarkowski (£4.8m) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£6.0m) miss out through injury tonight.

Only three FPL midfielders have registered more assists than Gudmundsson this season, with the Iceland international a particular menace at set plays – so Robbie Brady (£5.4m) would seem likely to play a more prominent role at free-kicks and corners tonight.

That could be significant given that Newcastle have conceded more attempts from dead-ball situations than any other side in 2018/19.

The Magpies come into this fixture off the back of a three-match unbeaten run and successive wins over top-half opposition in Watford and Bournemouth.

Three of the four clean sheets that Rafael Benitez’s side has registered this season have come away from home.

Newcastle are without regular left-back Paul Dummett (£4.4m), however, who misses out with a hamstring problem. Ciaran Clark (£4.5m) fills in for the sidelined Wales international in Benitez’s only change.

Jonjo Shelvey (£5.3m) is back among the substitutes after recovering from injury, though Jamaal Lascelles (£4.7m) and Yoshinori Muto (£5.7m) miss out.

Salomon Rondon (£5.7m), fresh from a brace against Bournemouth, leads the line for the Magpies once more.

Chris Wood (£6.2m) and Sam Vokes (£5.3m) are paired up front again by Sean Dyche, who has Steven Defour (£5.4m) fit and available to start in central midfield.

Burnley XI: Hart; Lowton, Mee, Long, Taylor; Lennon, Defour, Cork, Brady; Vokes, Wood.

Newcastle United XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Clark; Diame, Ki; Ritchie, Perez, Kenedy; Rondon.

Why on God’s green Earth would any manager play Hart over Heaton?

    Dyche’s sanity must be questioned.

Hart has been one of Burnleys best players this season

Could do nothing about the 2 goals tonight

      1. Fantasy Gold
        • 11 Years
        7 years, 5 months ago

He’s made a load of saves, yeah.

But goalkeeping isn’t just about shot-stopping, which Hart is very good at.

He doesn’t command the box and you can tell his defenders in front of him have no faith in him to deal with anything that gets swung into the box.

A good shot-stopper does not equal a good keeper.

        1. Syd.
          • 16 Years
          7 years, 5 months ago

I disagree, he commands the box very well. His downfall was letting a lot of soft shots in over the last few years which you would expect him to have saved.

Any Burnley keeper would have more saves than every other team's keeper, it's the way Dyche sets them up to play...

Having opted for Maddison>Richarlison in GW13
I now have to deal with injured Mendy assuming Hazard will be fit for GW14.
I’m thinking Mendy>Delph purely for Man City defensive cover.
    Thoughts please

With Mendy our I’m looking at Ederson as City defence cover. Currently on Alisson so no rush.

Think there’s more attacking potential return and value with the likes of Doherty and Digne.

I agree. Not ideal. But the balance allows me to get Robbo over Bellerin. I suppose there is always the option to get a 3rd sub in a few weeks if looking essential.

Early thoughts on what to do with this lot

    1FT 0.5itb
    Fab
    Alonso, Robbo, Laporte, Doherty
    Salah, Haz, Martial, Fraser
    Aguero, Wilson

    (Foster) (Duffy, Diangana, Success)

    A) Wilson > Jimmy
    B) Wilson, Doherty > Jimmy, Trent (-4)
    C) Salah, Fraser > Mané, Sané (-4)

Will probably play my WC for GW15 so no point saving FT

Obv if Haz confirmed out then it’s an easy switch to Sterling imo

    Thoughts?

OK, weird situation here. Could be rough, could be smooth.

Had an -awful- gameweek. Finished on 32 points after last minute decision to switch captaincy from Salah to Kun.

However, my FFS cup opponent (who is Joe) is sitting on 35 points after taking a 4 pt hit. He has Hart in goal.

Long story short, I'm watching from behind the sofa for the last 10 mins hoping that Hart doesn't make two saves before the final whistle.
