The final match of Gameweek 13 takes place this evening between Burnley and Newcastle United, with kick-off at Turf Moor delayed by half an hour to 20:30 GMT because of a “medical emergency” at the ground.

This fixture will be of limited interest to many Fantasy managers, with not a single player on show owned by more than 10% of us.

Joe Hart (£4.5m) boasts the highest ownership of the Fantasy Premier League assets featuring this evening, sitting in 9.0% of squads.

The former Manchester City goalkeeper comes into this match off the back of a 10-point haul against Leicester City in Gameweek 13, having kept a clean sheet at the King Power Stadium and topped up his returns with save and bonus points.

No Premier League goalkeeper has made more saves than Hart this season.

Both of Burnley’s most-owned outfielders, James Tarkowski (£4.8m) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£6.0m) miss out through injury tonight.

Only three FPL midfielders have registered more assists than Gudmundsson this season, with the Iceland international a particular menace at set plays – so Robbie Brady (£5.4m) would seem likely to play a more prominent role at free-kicks and corners tonight.

That could be significant given that Newcastle have conceded more attempts from dead-ball situations than any other side in 2018/19.

The Magpies come into this fixture off the back of a three-match unbeaten run and successive wins over top-half opposition in Watford and Bournemouth.

Three of the four clean sheets that Rafael Benitez’s side has registered this season have come away from home.

Newcastle are without regular left-back Paul Dummett (£4.4m), however, who misses out with a hamstring problem. Ciaran Clark (£4.5m) fills in for the sidelined Wales international in Benitez’s only change.

Jonjo Shelvey (£5.3m) is back among the substitutes after recovering from injury, though Jamaal Lascelles (£4.7m) and Yoshinori Muto (£5.7m) miss out.

Salomon Rondon (£5.7m), fresh from a brace against Bournemouth, leads the line for the Magpies once more.

Chris Wood (£6.2m) and Sam Vokes (£5.3m) are paired up front again by Sean Dyche, who has Steven Defour (£5.4m) fit and available to start in central midfield.

Burnley XI: Hart; Lowton, Mee, Long, Taylor; Lennon, Defour, Cork, Brady; Vokes, Wood.

Newcastle United XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Clark; Diame, Ki; Ritchie, Perez, Kenedy; Rondon.

I'm glad i didn't do my two transfers last night to catch Sanè's price rise because now i also have Ryan and Hazard injured. So i can still do my two transfers plus a third one for an unwanted - 8.

    Considering Zaha, next four are:

    Burnley (H), Brighton (A), West Ham (A), Leicester (H)

All of the above have weak defences.

they had some good attacking spells vs UTD, unlucky not to score two goals. CPL need the points and Zaha most likeliest to get the attacking returns. Yes, injury is a concern.

Believe me.. it isn't a brag humble or otherwise, it's an expression of relief fella. I don't boast a good score & I'm not bitter when I get a bad week either. This used to be a collective community in what is just a game after all. Seems to have gone downhill & increasingly nasty over the past couple of seasons. Seems to tie in with the divisive society 'Trump & Brexit' has created. 'Less a forum & more a slagging-off' site.

Not been watching much football lately, NUFC are treading water as a club (The sole ambition of the club is just to try to not get relegated again) so it's not a lot of fun. Can't see them being big scorers under Rafa though so I'd avoid Rondon and only take Kenedy if your budget demands it.

Ugh, wake up to Gudmundsson missing and a sea of yellow and here I was thinking I may have been able to save FT this week!

    Fabianski
    Doherty, Trent, Alonso, AWB
    Martial, Salah, Sterling, Hazard
    Arnautovic, Jimenez

    Hamer, Richarlison, Digne, Success

1.7m ITB. Anything you'd change providing Hazard & Arnie are fit?

Didn't realise Ginola had scored so few goals, but he did get lots of assists involved in goal every 3 matches.

    Hazard + Laporte > Robertson + Sane?

I have to get rid of Laprote since I already have Aguero and Sterling.

Active teams according to fpl discovery is about 62% in the region of 3.7mil

    My GW rank was 4.2mil

Haha no shame, plenty of dead teams kill it on given gameweeks. Alli Eriksen Sterling Sané all likely to be in a fair few of them!

Robertson, Hazard, Salah, Success > TAA, Alli, Sane, Kane -8

    Big balls

Really poor week this week (I knopw I'm not alone in that), wondering what to do next.

    Patricio/Hamer
    Alonso/Robertson/Laporte/Bennett/Wan-B
    Salah/Hazard/Richarlison/Fraser/Camarasa
    Aguero/Arnie/Jimenez

1 FT, 0.1 ITB, WC still in hand.

    Thinking maybe:

    A) Hazard to Sterling
    B) Save

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you consider having Mané in your team not a waste of cash - that said after weeks of calling him a fraud he did look pretty good this weekend so I’m quite happy to eat my hat if he goes on to score consistently

I think if you have another look at salah he’s really only blanked against the top 5 teams and city aside they were away games. That’s consistency - unfortunately the returns don’t quite meet the cost coz the guy can’t get baps - can’t see many keeping over Xmas

          1. Demel
            • 14 Years

The baps and price is the issue. No big hauls and no baps isn't enough for his price. At 10m he would be great. He is just too expensive.

Don't get me wrong . I would hate to lose him but it's for the good of the team. Kane and sterling are getting to a point with form and fixtures that they're almost essential.

I’m going the same way but really trying to hold salah for Burnley - Kane is defo in for Southampton (they are getting relegated unless they sack Hughes)!

I love a price rise me!
But this year I have been so much more cautious and waiting till Thursday or Fridays... so unusual as I loving buying brilliant expensive assets in February/March and coming from behind to have a great finish.

Yep always make early transfers to build team value in the first part of the season up to about now really coz now the games come so quickly it can really hurt.

Give it time. If not this week, then at some point everyone who makes it a policy to do early transfers will eat it.

You can't predict it but a Sterling or Sané injury would certainly wind a few up.

As the other guy said, it'll happen sooner or later.

    Fabianski
    TAA - Doherty - Robertson
    Sterling - Hazard - Sane - Kenedy
    Aguero - Kane - Jimenez

    Button - AWB - Camarasa - Peltier

How is this team shaping up? I could do Robertson/Kenedy/Peltier > Bellerin/Brooks/Balbuena and strengthen the squad (but lose Robbo which I am reluctant to do).

Salah isn't a bad pick, he's returned reliably as a captain. But it's about the opportunity cost. With so many others hauling fairly regularly for at least a bit cheaper, he isn't really justifying the price.

      • 7 Years

      Not bad at all
Just too expensive and he is the only one in that price range

Been a consistent and reliable captain option. Think his time is up tho, cant see myself or many others captain him over the next 4 or so weeks with City scoring for fun and Kane coming into the picture.
