Wolverhampton Wanderers’ defence was supposed to be one of the clean sheet bankers in Gameweek 13, but Fantasy managers were left disappointed.

After keeping four clean sheets from five matches between Gameweeks 4 and 8, the newly-promoted side have not recorded one since.

We’ve taken a look at the data in the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area to see whether the use of Rui Patrício (£4.6m), Matt Doherty (£4.9m) and their defensive colleagues have run out.

    Klopp's comments on Salah being 100% back to his best are food for thought. Shows that maybe he hasn't been confident enough because of his injury to his shoulder.

    Having had similar injuries that makes sense, you are more nervous to get stuck in. Amplify this x100 for professionals. I had noticed that he's not been so keen on getting physical this season. Klopp's comments kind of cementing my thoughts.

    I am trying to fight the urge to get rid of Salah, and this may have swayed me to keep for a bit longer.

      But at the same time does that mean Klopp is 100% happy with Salah's recent performances and so he doesn't expect anything more than what we see from Salah now?

      I'm highly likely to sell after Everton. Kane becomes highly captainable with 4/6 good home games and Cardiff away after that in next 7.

      Salah has 1 good home game in the same 7 weeks. And has Utd, Ars and City.

      Losing Aguero who'll have EVE CPL 17/18 seems less appealing to get Kane

      This is actually a good thing, most players will be rotated, but with Arnie we know when it is likely to be and can plan for it, unlike the situation we find ourselves in with City attackers.

      However Arnie has said he needs to rest for 2 days after a game but can fully train midweek. As there is a Tuesday game, WHU will be playing rather than training, so Arnie should be fit to play on Tuesday evening in lieu of midweek training - either off the bench or perhaps subbed early ... I don’t see it as a huge issue either way really, especially if we have a decent bench player to come in 🙂

    Thinking about WC soon..GW 15 probably..How does it look?

    Fabianski, 4.0
    Alonso, Trippier, TAA, Bennett, WB
    Sterling, xxx, Mane, Richarlison, Camarasa
    Kane, xxx, Jimenez

    a) Dilva + Arnie
    b) Fraser + Lacazette
    c) Paterson/Brooks + Aguero (TAA to 4.6 or Tripp to 5.7)

        Disagree...

        Tripper = Not safe due to fixture congestion and Aurier.
        Davies = Not safe due to return of Rose imminently.
        Foyth = Unnecessary punt with Vertonghen back.
        Lloris = Safe

        I'd avoid all their defence except Lloris tbh. Either overpriced, rotation risk, not first choice, or a combination of all.

      Will take a big change in attitude of Wolves and tactical shift for them to keep a CS:

      1) Moutinho and Neves have been bullied when up against physical midfielders
      2) The team generally are trying to play a lot more than at the beginning of the season
      3) The distances between midfield and attack and midfield and defence have increased leaving them more open

        Salah and Hazard aren't justifying their price tags right now -- though, of course, things could change in one week.

        Anyway, Mane will score more or less similarly to Salah, and Sterling should definitely outscore Hazard in the long run. That's my reasoning.

          It's funny that this has become the consensus with Salah.
          Since GW9 when I got him, he has returned 41 points in 5 games. That's about 8 points a game. If he maintained this form, which is entirely possible, then he would it would be the same ppg as last season. What more do people want?

          It's not to say I haven't considered shipping Salah either but then I saw this.

      Haz & Salah are not hot properties at the minute, arguably neither is Kun.

      Kane & Sterling are attracting a lot more attention... But I'm not planning to get rid of Salah or Haz as it stands.

      Is the kind of move that could boost your OR so well over the next 3-4 weeks... But id hate to back against Salah and Fraser is dirt cheap at 5.5

      Sane could be rotated and Alli can go 2 months without returning so hard to know

      But it definitely could work

      Alli is seriously underrated - the kid scores in the PL at a rate of better than a goal every 3 games.

          Ja, spelade mitt för et par veckor sedan och fick en push uppåt i tabellen. Du har fina möjligheter till ett bra Wildcard särskilt om du kan lista ut vilka som kommer spela/vila I City.. Jo, Kane ser intressant ut från gw15!

            Sterling och Dilva/Sane. Jag tror Dilva sitter säkrare men att Sane har en högre växel just nu.
            Samma sak med Eriksen/Alli/Son.

            Jag hör av mig igen när jag har mitt final WC draft klart så får du betygsätta och komma med feedback. Må väl!

    Please advise me, play WC now or next GW? I consider two options
    a. WC
    b. 1 or 2 transfers (-4)

    1 FT, 2,3 ITB

    Patricio
    Robbo Alonso AWB Doherty
    Hazard Sterling Siggy Fraser
    Arni Aguero

    Speroni Wilson Digne Stephens

    1. Siggy -> Sane
    2. Siggy -> Dsilva
    3. Kun -> Kane

      1 if any. Dilva might be the one to get a rest and Sane came of earlyish last night.
      Why benching Wilson rather than Fraser?

      I wouldn't wildcard now or next week, you have a great defence, and have Sterling already.

      From your options I'd go Siggy to D.Silva this week, then next week Aguero to Kane. 2.3m should be enough to do it, no hits needed if you do siggy to d.silva today before he rises.

    3. Eze Really?

    Hmmm, thought I'd use RMT facility.
    Tweaked it for Gw's 15-20 (instead of 14 - 19) a low and behold it shows Sanchez as 8th highest points scorer over this period!!!
    He's barely 7th highest scorer in a poorly scoring ManU team.

    Am I overlooking something or just another thing gone to the dogs on here?

      GW15 WC is begging for more Spurs with their fixtures. I also wouldn't go with no Arsenal with their fixtures GW16 onwards personally. The main benefit of the GW15 WC is the fixture swing.

        I could do Dilva to Alli to get another Spurs player in. As for Arsenal, I would have to lose Arnie or Kane to get one of their strikers in, both of which also have great fixtures. Could always go Rich > Iwobi or Xhaka but that doesn't feel right. Any suggestions?
