While the Fantasy Premier League masses work out how to stockpile Manchester City midfielders, we’ve also been looking for some under the radar options.

Ahead of the Gameweek 14 deadline, we’ve picked out three options all owned by less than 5% of Fantasy managers who can propel you up the rankings.

We’ve been looking at Spurs as well as some budget options elsewhere…

Son Heung-min

Price: £8.3m

Ownership: 1.7%

An impressive performance for Son Heung-min (£8.3m) in Spurs’ 3-1 win over Chelsea in Gameweek 13 has put him back on our Fantasy radars.

We think that he could continue his form into the north London derby this weekend and act as an incredible differential with just 1.7% ownership.

That display at Wembley will almost certainly allow Son to hold onto his place, with Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura both starting against Inter Milan midweek.

If Son reverts to his usual position on the right at Arsenal, having played up front with Kane at the weekend, he should have a field day.

We recently discovered that Arsenal are defensively weakest down their left flank this season, which could leave the door open for a Son masterclass.

Even if the South Korean plays as a centre-forward again then he should still enjoy his Sunday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium. No side has given up more big chances in home matches this season than Unai Emery’s Arsenal, not even Burnley.

Steve Mounié

Price: £5.8m

Ownership: 0.2%

There is something awfully specific about why Huddersfield striker Steve Mounié (£5.8m) looks set to enjoy a fruitful Gameweek 14.

His upcoming opponents Brighton and Hove Albion, who visit the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday, currently rank second-worst for headed attempts conceded in away games this season.

Meanwhile, Mounié is the second-best for headed attempts among forwards in 2018/19, giving him the perfect Fantasy match-up this weekend.

While the Benin international has been known for his profligacy during his time in the Premier League, he has been pretty accurate of late too.

In the last four Gameweeks, only Harry Kane, Alvaro Morata, Mohamed Salah and Anthony Martial have had more shots on target than Mounié.

He has started the last three matches in a row, with Huddersfield picking up seven points from a possible nine in that time. For that reason, he should retain his place amid competition from Laurent Depoitre, currently an injury doubt.

Andros Townsend

Price: £5.7m)

Ownership: 1.1%

Crystal Palace may be short on goals right now but they should get over that problem when they face Burnley this weekend.

13 Gameweeks into the season and no side has overtaken the Clarets for number of shots conceded, either in total or in the box.

That makes them the perfect opponents for Palace this weekend.

While Wilfried Zaha remains the popular Eagles option (14% ownership), there is every chance that Andros Townsend (£5.7m) could also benefit at Selhurst Park.

He has actually been outperforming Zaha for underlying statistics in the last four Gameweeks. The Englishman is ahead on both total shots, and shots on target. In fact he has five accurate efforts in that time compared to Zaha’s zero.

Furthermore, Townsend is just one created chance behind his Ivorian colleague, giving him the potential for a spread of points for a much cheaper price.

I feel like there is too much regarding Aguero. Jesus could be fit and Pep’s statement about “everybody deserves to play”.

Therefore, I’m leaning towards Hazard as my captain.

    Does anyone agree?

I never thought he would start 3 games in a week tbh but no one knows. I would do one of Kun/Haz (c) and someone else as (vc) in case both don't play.

I would have a hard time putting the armband on a yellow flagged player. Hopefully we get some ITK chat on Hazard and Jesus before the deadline.

Would you like Laporte or TAA for the next 4 games?

    1. MTPockets

Laporte. But think there'll be rotation everywhere inc him so TAA option could be relatively better than normal with set pieces.

New manager effect at Fulham - Mitrovic definitely.

He scored two last week and Ranieri has set up his side to have fullbacks crossing the ball to him.

Sterling is probably a better long term option than Sane but cant afford him without a hit.

    Which one is better?

    A Mane to Sane
B Play Mane this GW, then Hazard to Sterling in GW15

Thoughts on Kun to Aubameyang instead of to Kane? Aubameyang has scored one more goal, has a better goals per minutes record, is cheaper, and pretty sure he has more goals than Kane in all of 2018.

Yes he’s nailed for the big games but over Christmas there’s no way he’ll play every game whereas I reckon Kane is likely to get more minutes than him. Although auba still is a good option I don’t know though you could be right and are first to the bandwagon while everyone gets Kane and plays catch up

If Sterling is benched and City are cruising, then imo he stays on the bench. Just depends what how tight the game is really as he could be sent on to try and find a winning goal.

Are you intending to keep hold of mend until you need or want to buy another defender?
I have god enough defensive options this week I think and I too own Mendy.
I'm torn between selling him for a Man City defender or keeping the FT like your self.

I am selling Mendy just before GW 16. This week think I'm gonna save and midweek I'll use both transfers. Same here, got good options in defence to cover for Mendy for now and that's it:)

Thinking of rolling my transfer with the following:

    Lossl
    Robertson, Doherty, TAA, Wan-B (Mendy)
    Sterling, Hazard, Mane, Richarlison (4.3)
    Aguero, Jiminez, (Wilson)

Obviously ill getting rid of Mendy next week but should I do it this week with possible benchings of Hazard, Sterling and maybe TAA? If so who to?

Same situation as me but if you're selling him next week you might has well sell him this week (1) to avoid price drop unless you sell him after tonights transfer deadline (2) You're going to sell him anyway so why wait you will still have the same transfer options with 1FT having to be used to sell him.
Also you could get a nailed on City defender a very possible CS.
This is what I'm telling my self anyway!!
Do you have any thoughts on Delph?
