With four goals and three assists over the international break, Raheem Sterling‘s (£11.6m) sky-high Fantasy stock has reached stratospheric levels as we approach Double Gameweek 32.

The Manchester City winger scored a hat-trick in his last Premier League appearance, too, bringing his total number of double-digit hauls in 2018/19 to eight – four of them coming in this calendar year alone.

Sterling registers more Fantasy Premier League points per match on average (7.3) than any other top-flight player this season and it seems likely that there will be few active FPL managers going into Gameweek 32 without his services.

Having started the first four league matches of 2019 on the right wing, Sterling has switched over to the left flank in his last six top-flight appearances.

It was, indeed, from a starting role on the left of a 4-3-3 that Sterling scored his hat-tricks for City and England over the last three weeks.

The imminent return to fitness of Kevin De Bruyne (£9.7m) and Fernandinho (£5.3m) could be a significant development in terms of Sterling’s starting position, as it would allow Bernardo Silva (£7.5m) to return to the right-wing role that Pep Guardiola has largely used the Portuguese midfielder in since Gameweek 25.

That would leave Sterling free to play on the left flank – although with Riyad Mahrez (£8.2m) and Leroy Sane (£9.3m) also champing at the bit for a start, there could be any number of permutations in City’s front three in the upcoming matches against Cardiff City and Fulham.

Nevertheless, Guardiola has clearly favoured Sterling on the left flank since the beginning of February and it is perhaps worth comparing his output on either wing ahead of Double Gameweek 32.

The striker situation is a real mess on Free Hit right now.

Kane, Kaku, Rash, Zaha, Bats all good options but picking two out of these which give the right balance & two starts is pretty tough because of injuries & fixtures.

Getting the right strikers will be key as all other players are more or less the same.

        Higuain definitely.

Think I'll leave Jimenez out as I can see more potential in other strikers for this gameweek.

Kane and Bats seem likely to play most minutes, although obvs fixtures not as good as Utd 2.

Yup I agree that's the catch there. I've started to like the look of Higuain & Rashford too because of the fixtures mainly.

I don't see the United fixtures as being so great at all.

Wolves wil concede of course but they're unlikely to be hit for many. The Watford fixture only looks good if you think they'll rotate massively.

3 possibly 4 goals - more would surprise me.

Not if you compare the fixtures to Cheslea & City. But I think they are much better than the rest.

If Lukaku is fit, A it is. Or has B, some merit to be considered?

    A) Tomkins + Lindelof + Jimenez + Lukaku

    OR

    B) Schlupp + Alli + Batshuayi + Rashford

If fit then still A. Not keen on Alli and Kaku pushes Rash out wide. Bats for Jimi in top one to minimise rotation risk?

      Hey mate,
I wanted to reply on previous post question but missed it sorry.
I'm expecting A to outscore B if Lukaku is fit.
And If zaha is fit (most probably) Schlupp might play @ LB or might not even play as Meyer started FA cup match & performed well.
So if Lukaku & Zaha are fit A will definitely outscore B.
      (Imo)

In continuation to my post above what is the best option out of these?

    A) Lukaku, Bats, Luiz & Smalling
    B) Higuain, Rashford, Milivojevic & Smalling
    C) Kane, Bats, Luiz & Dunk

    Ederson
    Azpi - Palace
    Sterling - Hazard - Pogba
    Aguero

Was leaning towards A for Kaku but I'm not sure if I will get 2 games out of him.

    Appreciate your thoughts! 🙂

Much prefer Dilva to Sane if you want a mid.

Sane was yanked early in the cup even before Mahrez. He doesn't have any record of scoring as an impact sub.

I still prefer Luiz over Azpi. There's a slight danger of rotation but he's just missed the two games all season and is well rested.

      B for me

Lots here like him but I think Lukaku is second fiddle to Rashford in OGS's mind and if Martial and Lingard are fit too then his minutes could be limited.

Dilva just has great fixtures, He'll probably only get one but that one - whichever it is - still puts him ahead of Deu for me as the punt mid.

          Maybe.

But I'm probably steering clear of United attack in any event. To my mind there's clear rotation danger with Rashford Lukakau Lingard and Martial if fit. I'm pretty sure they'll all get decent minutes.

OGS does seem to love to hype Rashford up - perhaps I'm reading too much into that.

When all the attackers were fit previously Lukaku was the one who was left out. Given his form before getting injured it remains to be seen whether that would be the case now though.

i disagree, looking back when lukaku forced his way in rashford still played vs burnley and then chelsea but out wide...lukaku then continued his form and rash got injured.

plus all irrelevant now as i believe lukaku has proven how good he can be to ogs and wont be left out again even if all are fit.

I suspect Rashford was out wide because he can play there whereas Lukaku is just a central striker. With Lingard and Martial out Lukaku goes central but what happens when all are fit?

Martial was injured for both of those games, so my point still stands. Since OGS has taken over, Lukaku hasn't started a game where Lingard, Martial and Rashford have been fully fit.

The last point may be true, but we won't know until it happens.

Good points I hadn’t considered this, I take it back. I still think his best team is with kaku up top but yes it’s just a hunch...it will also depend on opposition I think , I.e big man up top required to hold ball up etc(kaku), aerial strength (kaku), more quick turn of speed (rash)

What are your thoughts on Dilva as an option?

I've got 5.4 for a GK and already have 3 Chelsea players, so thinking Lloris could be a good option? Will hopefully get some save points against Liverpool and potentially CS against CP.

Not a bad call at all - a good way of spreading risk in defence,

0-0 is quite a possible outcome at Anfield - the two big matches with United and Everton finished that way of course (away I know) and 1-0 at home to Palace is (sadly) a tradition.

Cheers all. I'll look at those cheaper options. Alternative is to lose Luiz in defence for Smalling and get Kepa in goal...?

im also considering this, poch has always in past been quite a defensive minded coach and im sure the lack of clean sheets recently will be infuriating to him....imo they will definitely attempt to reset defensively and hold out pool and spurs ...whether they can do it or not is another question

Torn between Kun and Sterling for TC armband.

Head says Kun but heart says Sterling.

    So which one?

Going Kun I think as has been rested over international break.

Aguero has played 91% of possible minutes this season. Second after Ederson.
Sterling is 4th i guess on that list, both have similar starts in 24.
So Sterling might get rested even if fit. (Old data)

      Aguero all the way !!

Put Jimenez and Bats through the comparison tool for the last 4.

Then stop picking Bats in your FH team.

Sort these players by guarantee of naileness? Who plays both games for sure..

    A) Smalling
    B) Luiz
    C) Laporte

Other two defs are Azpi & Schlupp. Keeper will be Ederson/Kepa/De Gea
