Everton v Arsenal was the only Premier League match to take place on Sunday, so attention now switches to the FA Cup semi-final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford.

Both of these sides enjoy two fixtures in Double Gameweek 35 and several of their players will be very much in the minds of Fantasy managers as they prepare their squads for the season run-in.

There are three changes to the Wolves side that beat Manchester United in midweek but the team that lines up at Wembley is effectively Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-choice starting XI, save for the inclusion of cup goalkeeper John Ruddy over Rui Patricio.

Romain Saiss gets the nod over Ryan Bennett at centre-half, while Jonny returns at wing-back as Ruben Vinagre makes way.

Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota resume their partnership up front, while Matt Doherty – owned by more than one in five FPL managers – lines up on the right flank.

Javi Gracia has made two changes to the team that beat Fulham on Tuesday, with Heurelho Gomes replacing Ben Foster as anticipated.

More noteworthy for Fantasy managers ahead of Gameweek 35 is the inclusion of Andre Gray over Gerard Deulofeu up front.

Gray set up two of the Hornets’ goals against the Cottagers in midweek and was talked up by fellow striker Troy Deeney in the club captain’s post-match interview.

Wolves XI (3-5-2): Ruddy, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Neves, Jonny, Jota, Jimenez.

Watford XI (4-4-2): Gomes, Kiko Femenía, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas, Hughes, Doucouré, Capoue, Pereyra, Deeney, Gray.

Are we too quick to jump back on the Salah train? It was just one goal, yet seeing many replace Mane with Salah on WC teams now...

That's what I'm thinking... will fit him in if I can, but is it worth the extra 3.1 over Mane? similar current form.

could always squeeze him in somehow in 36

Just been looking at Ben Crellins spreadsheet in relation to rest days.....some of the schedules for teams in Europe still are insane.

With this in mind is it even worth bothering targetting the DGW players as i can imagine that the vast majority will only be playing one of their doubles?
Is it better to focus on SGW players who have good fixtures and lots of rest?

Thoughts on City assets for WC34 and beyond appreciated....

The way I see it, Sterling Aguero Laporte will be the most owned ones. Sterling is the only one currently in my WC draft, though - I think other, cheaper forwards with better fixtures (think Deeney, Jimenez etc) that are also probably more nailed than Aguero given City's fixture congestion.

The same I feel applies for Laporte - typically nailed on, but City will be playing a game every 3 days or so at that point (bound to be some rotation), and not the pretties DGW fixtures for him either (tot+MUN)...

Sterling same risks as Aguero, but maybe more likely to get more minutes?

aguero keeps getting little niggle injuries, would not rely on starting both games. Sterling will play in both but most likely come off the bench in one - could be a differential pick. I would avoid city defence due to combination of poor fixtures and rotation. better keeper options than ederson

tldr: Sterling is the one imo
