Liverpool’s formation change earlier this season holds the key to whether Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) deserves a place in Wildcard squads for Double Gameweek 34.

After going six Premier League matches without a goal, the Egyptian finally found the net against Southampton in Blank Gameweek 33 – just in time to cause a dilemma for managers overhauling their teams.

Judging by the relief he showed at St Mary’s on Friday night, there is a case to be made that Salah could now return to his incredible points-scoring form from earlier in the campaign.

However, we have uncovered a few tactical factors that could have a bigger impact on his chances of impressing between Gameweek 34 and the end of the season.

As we have used data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members’ Area, only members can read on to enjoy our analysis.

Now that we are past the half-way stage, memberships are now available for just £10, so make sure you get the most of it while you can by signing up HERE.

30 points behind ML leader. Both on our WC but he also has TC left.
Do I go all out and get the likes of 3 Brighton players etc.
Been slowly clawing back the gap but need to make a big final push I think?

I imagine he will be getting 2 Brighton defenders, so going triple Brighton probably won't make that much difference.

Anyone else fancying Etheridge over Ryan? Ryan’s cheaper but against bottom teams Cardiff have actually got a decent record.

Playing away too, so may look to keep games tight and sneak a 1-0 win.

Thinking of Etheridge and Gunn WC combo. Different from template.

    Need a 4.3 defender that's not Brighton nor So'ton.
What about Wolve's cheapo's - Jonny, Saïss , Bennett - any of those worthy a spot? Looking at minutes over latest GW's, looks like neither are 100% nailed.

Who fares better? Lukaku v WHU or Aguero v cpl?

Two factors I'm trying to work out are:

    1) Rest days/post UCL sluggishness - UTD have two rest days to City's four.

    2) Opposition - Away to Palace has not been a fruitful fixture for City in past seasons.

Nah, I'd go for the better team on better form. United looked sluggish on recent form, were abysmal in both games vs Watford and Wolves.

Plus, City are in the title race. Pep will NOT be taking chances.

Why? He has assets that everyone on wc is ignoring like Pogba, Wilson and Lei defence

It's not who is missing - Pogba out of form, Jonny and Holebas (are they gonna start), 5 SGW and a -12. Gonna be way behind the ball imo.

Cheers for the advice - criticism definetly justified when paired with an explanation haha.

Don't mean to hate on you or anything. It's just tough sans WC. If I didn't have WC - I would stick just to getting the big hitters in and hopefully SGW players with good fixtures can match Holebas, Jonny, Deu and Jota.

Haha don't worry, criticism and advice is what i was seeking 🙂

If i do Hazard & Arnie to Deulofeu & Kane this week, what would you suggest for next week? See team below.

        Currently got 2FT and:
        BORUC, Ryan.
        TAA, Robbo, CLYNE, Jonny, Chilwell.
        Sterling, Mané, Pogba, BARNES, HAZ.
        ARNIE, VARDY, Wilson.

Hmmm. I'd do Boruc to Foster. Clyne to Valery. Barnes to JWP, Haz to Delu, Arni to Kane. Is that possible?

Yep, all good ideas, but feel very vulnerable without Wolves attacking coverage.

Arnie & Hazard to Kane & Deulofeu is pretty nailed down for this week so cheers for keeping that in there - it's all about next week's hits though.

Maybe Wilson to Jimi on top of what I said could be an idea then. Maybe Barnes to Jota over JWP. Just not sure on prices?

Neither of those affordable paired with your other suggestions unfortunately.

Difficult to say then tbh without knowing prices 🙁

I'll have nothing in the bank after this weeks moves. Selling prices of those I'm considering ditching are: Boruc (4.0), Clyne (4.4), Chilwell (5.0), Barnes (5.5), Vardy (9.0), Pogba (8.7).

Plan is Hazard & Arnie to Deulofeu & Kane this week, then the other four moves next week. Any advice appreciated. Cheers!

It is, have been burned many times by Kane in 'easy' home games in the past.

haha, tell you what I'm quite tempted by Duffy as well mate

only reason I'm probably going to go Kane is cause I'm going the game lol

Kane, more likely he gets 3 goals than Duffy to get 3 clean sheets.

Obviously. Duffy is only playing in 2 games.

Updated WC team. What you think?

    Ryan - Foster
    Laporte - TAA - Doherty - Montoya - Bednarek
    Salah - Sterling - Eriksen - JWP - Hojbjerg
    Kane - Jimenez - Deeney

Am I right in thinking I saw a post a few days ago saying to sell Aguero now on wildcard and you should be able to buy him back for 11.7 on Friday?

Predictions way off with wildcards active. If he starts today he might not drop at all. You'll never know

Crazy going without a Liverpool attacker for 34 & 35?

Have Robbo & TAA as coverage...
