Joe is joined by David and Karam for the latest episode of the Scoutcast tonight.

This episode overlaps with the return of European football to our screens.

Liverpool and Chelsea take on Napoli and Valencia respectively as the Champions League group stages get underway on Tuesday night.

We will have Scout Notes on those matches on Wednesday, but for now, there’s a brand new episode of the Scoutcast to occupy your attention.

        I think both is the way to go long term. Covers clean sheets a bit too.

        If Sterling flops then a straight swap to Mane is inevitable and all three can be accomodated if both KDB and Son are dropped.

        This is why I'm staying away from the premium strikers.

      Over the season, Salah will pull away from Mane in my opinion due to pens and set pieces like you say

      Last season Mane was better than Salah in 12 GWs and vice versa was a case in 17 occasions.

        Excellent stat. Of course last season there was a big price discrepancy (going for Firmino over Mane killed my early season along with King over a cheaper Wilson) that is now just .9.

    Which of my defenders would you transfer out, if any, and who would you bring in? Not seeing any good options really! Possibly remove a Liverpool defender. VVD to Mings, Aurier, Tomori or Söyüncü perhaps?

                Ceballos isn’t urgent with Villa at home next. Emery may stumble on the winning team and formation. If he doesn’t, then Wesley could benefit - they were so bad vs Watford.
                VVD is never a bad pick but the double up may be too much.
                Montoya has Newcastle if he’s over his tonsillitis.

                I think it's not having a premium striker that's getting me - if I had Aguero or Auba with that team I'd be happier but can't find a route with FT (you seem to have gained a lot of Team value quickly) I'm currently on a 101.7

              I think your current team is worth riding for al ittle longer, just to see really if things have set a trend or if things improve. Personally i'd be a bit worried about Auba's service without Lacazette and Pepe looks a bit lost. Son, he's had one good game, against a dier Palace side, need to see mroe from him imo.

      I kind of like Tomori even though chelsea dont look great defensively... the fixtures are class! like they surely keep out some of those teams... will he definitely keep his place ? how long is rudiger out for ?

        Thats what I was thinking as well. Chelsea have played vs good attacking teams and their fixtures are juicy. I think Tomori is ahead of Christensen and Zouma atm. And if they play with 3 CBs, Tomori is super safe starter imo

      Can’t have em all. Others like Sterling will start firing again and then people will scramble to get him back.

      Plus he burned me so hard when Arsenal had excellent fixtures last Christmas. So it go.
