Are West Ham defenders worth FPL investment?

Three clean sheets on the bounce have placed West Ham’s defence back on the Fantasy Premier League radar.

The Hammers have not conceded a single goal since Andre Gray (£5.9m) scored for Watford in Gameweek 3.

Following the 3-1 win at Vicarage Road, Norwich, Aston Villa and Manchester United have all gone up against Manuel Pellegrini’s men and failed to make a breakthrough.

Interest in West Ham’s defensive assets is understandably on the increase, but are they worth the investment.

This article aims to uncover the Hammers’ clean sheet potential over their upcoming fixtures and which individual assets warrant the spending.

As it uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who are signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

What is West Ham’s clean sheet potential?

Lessons learned from Gameweek 6:

This. He will need more funding so downgrade Ceballos also if you are willing to take -4.

I saw the 2017 IT on Monday and thought it was immeasurably dull. Probably suffered as I had finished Stranger Things recently and there are a lot of overlaps between the two.

I thought it was a good coming of age film and Skarsgard was great as Pennywise (it feels like he's barely in the second in comparison) but yeah I can see that and Stranger Things together being a bit of a similarity overload.

    Community Tournament: the Pundits Playoff

The current value for all the registered players (yes that’s you guys, if you’ve registered to take part) are up on https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1opsYBJnWkaqpcikXT-o-5WgeFGf8-CIKxsIRQIiBzs0/edit?usp=sharing .
These values are based on scores up to and including GW6, final prices will be confirmed following GW7 final scores.

Very happy to announce the current top ten MVPs in the competition, with a value of £100m each are:

danny2310, Devo-McDuff, BC1, rascalthebear, Belalugozi78, FanDoc, samjadam, adastidar, jaravind and Tigerjames

All are as yet unsigned apart from Belalugozi78 who is in team Narcos. Will they still be £100m following this weekend’s scores? Which team manager will take the plunge to sign these players pre-draft?

No idea what the Pundit’s Playoff is? Follow this link https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2019/09/19/community-tournament-the-pundits-playoff-full-info/

Likewise - could be really horrid. Truly foul.

Preseason plan was to take periodic (every 8 games or so) really attacking moves. This is moving week for me. Contemplating this super differential team

                  Pope
                  Robbo Ota AWB
                  KdB Son Martial McGinn
                  Haller Kun Vardy

Decided to hold nerve on McGinn Haller in any event and I just regard Martial as a super sub nowadays!

Haha I've been exactly the same with Sterling and Salah. I picked Auba this week, which was a disaster until the 85 minute. If I had kept Sterling I would probably have got the KDB vc points like everyone else.

Feeling an almost irresistible urge for Vardy over Tammy who I may get next week.

It’s partly the contrarian in me of course but he’s been knocking over non top 6 sides this year and think he has the fixture this week. Brighton defence is standing up quite nicely.

If I push the button I’ll be in full differential mode with 6 playing who are under 10% 🙂

GW8 is a bit dull of course but at least he’d be a hedge against Liverpool defence. And well you’d back him for one too 6 goal and contrary to form he’s blanked in those ones so far.

Personally prefer Leicester as a team and think they are capable of going on a run, but you'd probably need to bench him GW9. If your squad can cover it I think he'll do well in the forthcoming weeks.

I do like Diop tho too, and his home games are appealing.
