Both Southampton and Leicester have named unchanged sides for their Friday night clash at St. Mary’s Stadium.

That will be welcoming news for those in possession of Jamie Vardy (£9.1m), James Maddison (£7.2m) and Ricardo Pereira (£6.2m), the three most popular players in the first game of Gameweek 10.

It is the midfield option who will have the most attention from Fantasy Premier League managers, currently sat in 14.3% of squads.

Pereira is owned by 11.7% and while 11.5% are hoping from more attacking returns from Vardy.

Leicester remain without a clean sheet away from home this season so Fantasy managers are probably more expectant about Fantasy points at the other end of the pitch tonight.

That said, Vardy has scored in just one away match in 2019/20.

Gameweek 10 could see some improvement from Leicester’s attacking prospects on the road though, considering Southampton’s leaky defence at home this season.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side has conceded 10 goals across their four matches in front of their own fans since Gameweek 1, an average of 2.5 per game.

The Saints’ boss has stuck with the same defence as last time out though, lining them up in a back-three with wing-backs.

Maya Yoshida (£4.4m), Jannik Vestergaard (£5.2m) and Jan Bednarek (£4.5m) anchor the side with Ryan Bertrand (£4.8m) and Yan Valery (£4.8m) on the flanks.

Up-front is a man who has been capturing plenty of attention recently in Danny Ings (£5.9m).

He has started the last three Gameweeks, scoring in each of them, and may enjoy playing against this Leicester defence as they still chase their first away clean sheet of the campaign.

Southampton XI (5-3-2): Gunn; Bertrand, Yoshida, Vestergaard, Bednarek, Valery; Ward-Prowse, Højbjerg, Romeu; Redmond; Ings.

Leicester XI (4-1-4-1): Schmeichel; Chilwell, Söyüncü, Evans, R Pereira; Ndidi; Pérez, Maddison, Tielemans, H Barnes; Vardy.

    Anyone who watched -

Were Perez, Chilwell, Tielemans, Vardy simply outstanding today? Insane scores.

I assume they were helped by a woeful SOU, but how good were they? Lucky at all?

How nailed would you say Perez is? Worth a swap from Maddison?

It was a huge one off freak result, it reminded me of the Brighton vs Watford Friday night game from last season. Leicester will probably never score that many in one game again.
I wouldn't read too much into it, the only realistic thing that happened I'd say is the Vardy haul

        Man City vs Watford 8-0
        Southampton vs Leicester 0-9

Who will score first 10 in a game?

Helped a lot by S'oton, but it's the Newcastle game on replay

One man down to Leicester and all hell breaks loose. Hard to predict future games based on this

Chilwell was great. Barnes very lively too. They were causing havoc down that wing - Southampton were really weak down that side.

Perez was efficient. Very clinical, well taken finishes. Played well but overperformed to an extent.

      Vardy was Vardy.

Wasn't focusing on Tielemans as much, although he was obviously very influential in some of the balls he played in.

And dare I ask, but what about Maddison? He’s the only one I have and played (benched Soyuncu)

He wasn't involved much in the first half, was better in the second but was outperformed by all the above players.

Chilwell was unreal but the RB was basically non-existent.

Vardy was clinical as ALWAYS. Perez played his best game yet but obvi can't expect this every game.

Perez only ever seems to perform against dross so although he played well tonight, I wouldn't touch him. Vardy was clinical as usual. Chilwell was brilliant. Tielemans very good in a steady sort of way.

      Vardy- Usual
      Chilwell- Unreal game
Perez- brilliant finishes. Looks very Selfish though so i don't think he'll be nailed long term.
Tielemans- Looked brilliant. Was way more attacking than Maddison. Was way higher up the pitch.
Maddison- Nothing much until brilliant FK goal. Was almost CDM today.

Southampton- Well, it just wasn't their day !

Compared to the other MIDs, probably not - but 8 points is 8 points. Not too shabby.

And I have an exam paper to tackle. How on the earth to concentrate after selling Vardy to Kun and Mane to KDB on Saturday morning and kept Wilson even though I had the money? Simple Wilson to Kun not Vardy should have been. Also was tempted to get him for this week after Wilson was poor but went for 2 FT, even with 1.6 in the bank .

Bottom line how to go back to writing a paper after this ? Anyone knows the trick ?

    C) abraham
    D) salah (salah to mane isnt enought).
    E) KDB
