The arrival of Nathan Aké (£5.5m) at Manchester City could improve the club’s defensive prospects in 2020/21.

Pep Guardiola’s men were missing consistency and strength in depth at centre-back last season but Aké can be stabling influence this time around.

      Nope. I'm currently planning on running Salah, Auba (KDB from GW3), Kane and Werner as my big hitters - would like Bruno too, but there are enough premium options this season I'm not sure any are "essential" for the first 8-10 GWs

    Whats the story with Palace's defensive injuries then? Fpl site shows no fit cbs still. As tempting as Ferguson is, this + the assumption that one of their more defensively solid midfielders make way for Eze makes me unsure

      You need Auba to fail hard in the first 2 weeks.
      Soucek fixtures are dire.
      I think Ziyech is risky too. So many players competing for positions and so many new player too.

    Anyone considering Kun over Sterling or KDB to save 1 mil?
    Does anyone know what percentage of Kun missed minutes over the last few seasons are down to injury as opposed to rotation for Jesus.
    I think a lot of it is due to injury and unfortunately the that will probably continue

          Kun would be 250 points plus every year if he managed over 2500 minutes - but he won’t and that’s why I probably won’t go with this.

        I think Pereira is more likely the standard they will judge Eze by and Pereira being of higher quality can be potentially matched by the higher quality of team for Eze. ASM just seems underpriced

            Sure, however, as fodder striker I'd have no intention of playing any of them, same as fodder keeper. Therefore, I'd only be worried if their value dropped by .1, which is more likely with a higher owned player. If it's points you're after, and not worried about possibly losing value in the future, then Davis is the best bet for sure.

      If Sancho doesn't come Greenwood is nailed. Might be rotated a few times with Brooks if he joins. Wouldn't be in my team from the start, can't justify him over Ziyech in my team structure but I'm sure I'd bring him in GW10 when I WC

      I am benching Greenwood GW1 too but will have a 4.5 defender unless a 4.0 looks nailed.
      That .5 that Auba costs over KDB or Sterling is really annoying when trying to bench players in GW1.
