Pro Pundits team up for exciting new podcast ‘The FPL Wire’

Ahead of the 2020/21 Fantasy Premier League season, we have added another podcast to our rapidly growing Scout Network.

Powered by DreamSetGo, Lateriser12 (three top 200 finishes), Zophar666 (seven top 10k finishes) and BigManBakar (came fourth in 2014/15) have teamed up to bring you ‘The FPL Wire’.

These experienced managers, who have loved this game for years, will be discussing FPL every Tuesday, hoping to give you all the insight, information and banter you need to make your big decisions.

All the three FPL managers featured on this podcast have very contrasting managerial styles. So we hope these personality differences lead to engaging debate, each of us analysing from three different vantage points.

Every week, they will be discussing a Hot Topic as well as an in-depth look into two to three Premier League teams. The FPL Wire’s pre-Season podcast debuted last week, where the trio discussed the top four teams, the promoted clubs and three other Fantasy-relevant sides in great detail.

In the second episode, they will be taking an in-depth look at how to tackle Blank Gameweek 1, Wildcards, Going with Mohamed Salah (£12.0m) as well as discussing Kai Havertz (£8.5m), Everton, Leicester City and Newcastle United.

        I thought this but I think a 4.5 and Egan is now better. I want him for 6 weeks then another 5.0 as Sheff U fixtures for a short spell are as bad as it gets.

            Ryan does that. However Ramsdale on a potential WC after GW8 looks brilliant, a sea of green fixtures. Also enough time for him to bed in and see if Sheff U are still looking sound.

      It's not a debate. McCarthy is better. I will happily die on this hill. Statistically, he is the better pick. They have stronger defensive stats and better fixtures.

        Brighton's Veltman and White additions will make them very very solid and also Ryan has a higher saves per game ratio. Hobjerg left So'ton so they will have more defensive problems than Brighton imo.

          This is speculation only and with Southampton's better fixtures, I think that swings it. Maybe Brighton will perform well and I'll get Ryan in on first WC if Veltman and White improve the defense, but with Chelsea, MUN and Everton in the first 4 games I'm hard passing on Ryan until later.

      Just a note on the sound

      I think Bakar is slightly louder than you and LR and sometimes you need to adjust the volume when he speaks.

      Don't want to be pain but that's a feedback from me

      Was a great pod, really helped clarify the No Mo strategy I've been planning.

      I've currently got 2 mids and 1 forward in the 8.5m - 7.5m bracket and i'm a little worried about being inflexible with transfers if i need to bring in Tony to the forward position. Plan was to swap for Werner but i think he might score well even against the Kolarov teams so might need to fit both in.

        Too answer some off your questions I honestly believe asm will get more game time than saka, also alot more attacking returns, in a team now with wilison, also iv personally went with alli I see alli as a punt obv son could be the better pick but I just feel like alli cud start the season well, and as for ings I thank he's worth every penny, he's 1 off the most prolific strikers in the league,
