Joe and Az are joined by 2014/15 Fantasy Premier League winner Simon March as they look ahead to Gameweek 2.

With Manchester City and United’s blank Gameweek 1 over, they are back in action this weekend. But which assets do we bring in and who makes way?

The Scoutcast team reveal how they plan to navigate an upcoming fixture run, with even more explosive heavy hitters vying for their attention.

Everton’s new-look midfield gets the once over from our Scoutcast trio, who are particularly impressed with the addition of 2014 World Cup hero James Rodriguez to orchestrate the Toffees’ attacking play.

He certainly passes the eye test and this latest episode also reveals the underlying statistics behind Everton’s renaissance.

Elsewhere, Chelsea options are considered, ahead of their kind fixture run from Gameweek 3. As a fan of the London side, Simon is particularly insightful about the options to bring in and how their defence may line up.

The crew look back at the lessons learned from their Gameweek 1 performance. Even though Simon shunned a certain expensive Liverpool penalty taker, he looks to have made good use of the spare cash he has available. Will Joe follow Simon’s risky strategy in Gameweek 2? He’s certainly tempted.

Next four fixtures come under scrutiny and the community’s roughest and smoothest scores get an airing.

Meanwhile, Az and Simon reveal a pair of intriguing differentials and the show finishes with the team’s transfer and captaincy plans for the second round of fixtures of 2020/21.

Becoming more and more tempted by Havertz to James Rodriguez

Nothing wrong with that option, James will probably adapt to the Prem a bit quicker than Havertz until Chelsea's attack is full-strength.

      Makes perfect sense imho

I had the money for Bruno so went in that direction

      JRod looked great at Spurs

      Havertz looked dismal at best

Could all change, but I'd say the odds are in JRod's camp with the fixtures

Small, most transfers have probably happened already, and of those that are left I can't see it being Vinagre as the priority move out.

Apologies, I misunderstood and thought that was your suggested Wild Card team. Saliba in particular has dropped in price now and will not start any games this year, Taylor and Mitro are both big question marks in my opinion and an Arsenal double-up in midfield is probably excessive. Next week will most likely be painful but in the long-term you could wait it out and address the issues as they come.

You can play KWP instead of Saliba this GW. Monitor United's team news and get Greenwood in place of Havertz. Keep Ceballos in the 11 and Mitchell 1st sub. Auba to KDB in GW3. Use the extra 1.5/ 1.4 to fix Ceballos in GW 4.

Foden is the least likely to start. James is always an assist possibility, especially as Pulisic and Ziyech are out and they are trying to get some width out of the full-backs.

You could play Russian roulette with Jota, Neto, Podence, Traore but ASM probably best value at that price. Redmond is an outside punt as well. Much better value up-top for that price unless you need a mid.

Punted on Saka last week and looks like I'm gonna be rewarded with a lovely price drop. Trying to preserve as much value as I can before GW3 wildcard so thinking of binning him for one of the Leeds lads who will definitely start. Harrison/Klich seems to be a bit of a coin toss from what I've read on here so far. Any reason to sway one way over the other?

    Alli owners.

What are your thoughts? Now dropped from the Europa squad. I feel like it is a fire that needs to be put out. Are you considering transferring him out?

Who would be the best option?

    A Rodriguez
    B Podence
    C Barnes
    D Harrison/klich

A or D. Especially D if you want money. I think the drop was more because that want him to build fitness for the Saints game. I don't know if I should keep him because if he starts and scores then he has easy fixtures coming up. If I decide to transfer him out then it will happen today before his price falls. I really don't know mate.

Everton defence looking interesting now that Ancelotti has decided to go defensive.

Even with Liverpool on the horizon, you know they will play for the 0-0 (like last season).

Post-lockdown. In particular his approach vs Liverpool. When I see Ancelotti (and Arteta with Arsenal) play such a defensive game, I know they are into keeping CS.

Rubbish, he's one of the most pragmatic, player-focused managers around. He does play great offensive football, but he also sits back and defends whenever he needs to. See Chelsea and Milan's European ties for more proof.
