The highest-owned player in recent Fantasy Premier League (FPL) history takes to the field this evening.

Gabriel Jesus’ ownership passed 80% ahead of the Gameweek 3 deadline and he is part of an unchanged Arsenal side that takes on Bournemouth tonight.

Kick-off at the Vitality Stadium is at 17:30 BST.

If we go back to pre-season, this is the fifth match in a row that Mikel Arteta has named the same starting XI.

The likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney and Eddie Nketiah are warming the bench again, then, although the quick turnaround in Gameweeks 4-6 could offer some of them starting opportunities.

Bournemouth boss Scott Parker is still without star striker Dominic Solanke, who misses out with an ankle issue.

Parker makes three changes from the defeat at Manchester City last week, with Marcos Senesi, Jordan Zemura and Philip Billing replacing Lewis Cook, Jack Stacey and Ryan Christie.

There is plenty of FPL interest elsewhere, with Gabriel Martinelli now sitting in 40% of squads. Only Mohamed Salah is more widely selected among Fantasy midfielders.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is the fifth most-owned FPL defender, meanwhile, a fixture in over 28% of teams.

Despite the unprecedented ownership levels, Jesus is still not the most-captained player of the week:

Salah C here. But will still be funny if Jesus ends up outscoring both Haaland and Salah.

I originally went with Odegaard as felt he was more nailed and I've got a wafer thin bench. This week was pretty much make or break if I was going to persist with him.

I think Martinelli is probably the better pick, but I'm sticking with Odegaard rather than use up FTs.

Agreed but I also think it won’t make much difference, Chelsea still solid, Kante isn’t the ONLY player that means they get a clean sheet, the team as a whole is more ‘on it’.

Any other Leicester fans on? How concerned are you?

I look around right now and I only see one team definitely worse than us, and that is Bournemouth. We can’t afford to sack Rodgers even though it’s blindingly obvious we need to do it.

    Pretty worried.

Leicester will stay up. I can see 2 teams genuinely worse: Bournemouth and Everton.

I’d have us at a similar level of worry as Everton to be fair, still, that still puts us in the relegation zone 😉

It does with current form. But, Leicester has quality players in the attack. It will be a different story if you can sort out the defense.

          Is Fofana staying?

Depends if Chelsea pay up or not. Since they aren’t bidding anymore I guess they exploring alternatives but will be back with the £85m+ we want before the window closes if they don’t get anywhere.

He signed a new 5 year deal a few months ago, he won’t go for less than Maguire, and will a replacement already agreed.

Not a Leicester fan but I understand why you’re worried, I do think you’ll have enough to stay up though. Bournemouth, Saints & Everton look poor.

Rodgers comments in the lead up to this game didn’t sound ideal, reading between the lines there’s no money to spend & he expects one or two to leave. Can’t imagine the King Power being an overly positive place right now to play.

FFP tying wages to commercial income is our problem, we have funds to buy players etc, but if we do it we will be banned from europe. Super league by proxy basically. The same will happen to West Ham fairly soon, but worse for us because of the success we had, we started to pay good wages to reward the players, now the club is in disarray and there is no obvious route out. The only way is to sell your good players as soon as they can command a decent wage, which is exactly what it is designed to do… We haven’t improved the first xi in 2 years, stuck with Rodgers due to his contract size, and stuck with a bloated overpaid squad according to new rules.

It’s to ensure you spend what you make though. What you need to do is lie and deceive about who is sponsoring you, like City, then bribe people if you get caught.

Is odegaard a decent shout over Rodrigo for example?

I've got Rashford and Neto in my team, and both the Liverpool fullbacks. I rolled a transfer so I could do something with 2fts to bring in a midfielder and lose Robertson, but with Bournemouth next seems stupid yo lose him yet.

Thinking of just doing Rashford to someone for now. 6.8 itb.

Odegaard is too frustrating to own if you're impatient. He's the type of player who goes 2-3 games doing nothing FPL wise and not looking like getting many goals/assists, then you'll end up transferring him out to avoid the price drop, only for him to outscore your replacement by 10 points.

    Saliba or Cucruella?

Got James and no Arsenal defence

Really if people don't have 5 defenders they need to get it together, there is way too much value in defence not to have 5 defender, I would say it is essential to have a top rank.

It is essential to have a "decent" rank. "Top" rank requires playing with the fixtures and form and being correct with most of the calls.

Yes but because of the value of the defenders getting a top rank is largely dependent on predicting the big hauls from defenders and having 5 of them.

Cucurella. Saliba has already had his goal for the season.

With 80% ownership for Jesus I expect there will be alot of weeks where we can't celebrate his goals.

So, I captained Kane over Jesus, and feel like I dodged one almighty bullet there... two more bullets to dodge tomorrow and Monday of course hahahahaha
Martinelli with a handy assist, and some minutes managed, which bodes well I think. Others will be benched before him.

TAA, Robertson and Walker left pour moi... Allons-y!
