Everton v West Ham team news: £4.0m Emerson benched

Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) concludes this afternoon, with Everton v West Ham United getting underway at 14:15 BST.

Frank Lampard makes two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Liverpool in Gameweek 6.

Asmir Begovic comes in for the injured Jordan Pickford, while new signing Idrissa Gana Gueye replaces Tom Davies in midfield.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, however, fails to make the matchday squad.

As for the visitors, David Moyes makes one change, which sees Aaron Cresswell start at left-back.

That means £4.0m defender Emerson Palmieri drops to the bench.

      Thankfully, Saliba isn’t massively owned, but definitely a fair few in my mini-leagues have him ive noticed.

      Started the week at 800k went to 600k now back to 1.2m. Absolute s*** show of a season. No matter what move I make it’s the wrong one. The killing part is there’s guys not don’t jot to their team who are flying. Think my new motto is put out a team and leave it. Seems to work for casuals

        Having Andreas and Mitro means absolutely nothing though. Only thing that matters is Neco's expected points value. Unless you are in some weird situation where you need to maximize variance

          The game is also about making educated predictions after all and if you play Fulham attackers you're backing them to win.

          And anyway, I'd have picked Patterson in a vacuum anyway because Forest defense is the worst in the league.

        Yeah it was a strange decision in hindsight, but I fancied goals on the Forest Fulham game and thought Neco might be involved. I don't expect Everton to keep a clean sheet either so went with Neco for attacking potential.
