Start Mitro and Pereira first on the bench?

I could eventually use FT to get Emerson replacement and play that pick e.g. Justin.

I used this situation as an opportunity to upgrade my bench rather than play Andreas. Did Neco - Estupinan who I'm playing this week & 12.

Estupinan should be a shrewd pick. Brighton feel like favourites to win.

I've done exactly that, so you'll be wise to wait a week to catch Martinelli's brace and Zaha's blank.

Currently sat at 6.2m OR after a terrible start, do I go against Haaland (C) and opt for Bowen (C) to try and gain rank or is it still early enough in the season to go with the crowd?

Morning. I’m at 5M rank and went madders last week in the hope of doing the same thing. Bowen is a great shout and if it comes off would be amazing. I got 2 goals and an assist from my captain last week and was still 10 points down on the crowd so vs Southampton just going to go with the crowd myself this week. I just see Haaland getting multiple attacking returns again.

Owning Bowen is a great differential on its own. Good luck!

It's not the game to against him as captain - very few games will be but this one certainly isn't one

      • 13 Years
      3 years, 5 months ago

I'd say you're completely screwed tbh. You almost need to back against Haaland each week to have a chance of making substantial gains, but he's going to keep hauling no matter what. The only hope you have of salvaging the season is if Haaland gets crocked. Just being realistic - I'm in exactly the same position and it's extremely frustrating.

Regardless of that, I don't think this is a week to go against Haaland. We always have GW12 to look forward to, though.

          Lol Mambino..
Imo in this case of being rank 5m+, it's best to captain Haaland all the time and get your gains through the other 10 players and subs.
Set small realistic targets of say +. 0.5m per month.
Remember you have chips to use after Christmas too.
Enjoy it and don't give up

Never mind the pessimist. I'm looking at livefpl & theres 56pts difference between 1m and 4m (doesn't actually go as low as 6m! But that's maybe another 15-20?). That is easily surmountable even without captaincy - just 2pts per GW remaining.

Ward is a better goalie than most peopke here tend to think.
Not the best in commanding his defence, but he is a good shot stopper. The welsh version of Pickford.

Fair moves - Mitro won't play imo. I did:

      Trent > Tripper
      JWP > Zaha

With 2FT. Feel dirty going template at my low rank, especially missing 0.4 swing in value as well by waiting until this morning to do it. Got the WC to play in GW12 to try some fun stuff, though.
