One of the three outstanding Premier League fixtures without a date has been rescheduled, slotting into Double Gameweek 36 as expected.

That match is Newcastle United v Brighton and Hove Albion, which gives those two teams the following doubles:

CONFIRMED GAMEWEEK 36 DOUBLES

  • Brighton: Arsenal (a) + Newcastle (a)
  • Newcastle: Leeds (a) + Brighton (h)

Two more fixtures remain outstanding but there is a strong likelihood that they slot into Gameweek 37.

Brighton v Man City can’t go anywhere else following the Citizens’ progression to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, while Man Utd v Chelsea will only have one place to go – also Gameweek 37 – if the Red Devils make it past Sevilla this evening.

Even if Erik ten Hag’s side are knocked out in Spain, it’d be a strange choice to ignore the free midweek after Gameweek 37 and rearrange the Chelsea game for a European night in Gameweeks 35/36.

PROSPECTIVE GAMEWEEK 37 DOUBLES

  • Brighton: Southampton (h) + Man City (h)
  • Chelsea: Man City (a) + Man Utd (a)
  • Man City: Chelsea (h) + Brighton (a)
  • Man Utd: Bournemouth (a) + Chelsea (h)

Isak seems a tempting option from GW 36 ->
    Haaland, Isak and Jesus anyone?

Not for me, have had Isak last four gameweeks ir so and it’s not all that, Wilson to contend with, hardly braces, Newcastle not scoring as much, I got rid fwiw anyway, but could be good nonetheless.

    Taa or Arsenal Mid ??

Assume you have no Salah. If there was ever a game to captain TAA it would be this one.

Can't go wrong with an Ars mid vs Southamption either though.

Late reply... Salah is the standout pick and I'll be captaining him but if you put TAA, Saka, Martinelli, Jesus in the RMT tool TAA comes up as vice capt based on expected points. So for those that dont have Salah but can get to TAA he's a great pick

Yeah I don't think I'd go for a BHA player here. If I'm confident in Isak starting both by then he'd probably be the one for me. Otherwise Trippier I guess

Mitoma or Trippier the obvious choices.

Trippiers game against Leeds maybe edges him in front.

Mitoma a little bit differential as a capfian there

Brighton can score against anyone Not interested in their defence but might get Steele anyway.

But have Raya/DDG anyway atm and both have good home games Wolves/West Ham at home.

Will 100% get Isak though. Tripps a great Capt shout.

Raya, Zouma, TAA, Trippier, Botman, Salah (c), Saka, Martinelli, Kane, Watkins, and Edouard Bench- DDG Henry Mitoma, Rashford 0ITB. Eduoard one week punt, as will become fodder after this GW

          Don't agree with this.

Steele is much better at playing from the back which suits RDZ style of play.

Struggling to decide on my midfield & attacking options for this FH. I’ve dropped Newcastle and Leicester assets for triple arsenal and pool but I feel I’m relying on them as a crutch.

The big question is whether to have Bowen or Olise out in the starting 11 - people are saying Bowen performs terribly away but I’m not convinced Palace will beat this Everton side. I’m not convinced by Maddison however I do fancy trying Andreas.

Also have an option to drop Kane and give in-form Solanke a shot.

    Martinez (Iversen)
    TAA White Moreno (Toti, Coufal)
    Gakpo Salah(C) Martinelli Bowen* (Olise)*
    Watkins Kane* Jesus

Planned to keep Bruno until gw34 as my earlier plan was to FH gw32. But changed plan to FH34 or maybe later and did Bruno to Salah in gw31 as Bruno keep on playing deeper role. He might still be a good option, nearly scored in two occasions vs Forest though. At this point of the season, I think we need to rely on realistic result or expected result. The furthest the player play, high chances to get points. All the best to all fantasy managers.

Already done Macallister to Salah and Haaland to Edouard (as Salah rise is on the cards with Rashford on the bench), Will take one hit for Haaland back for Kane, and March for Saka I expect next week. Wish i had a FH.

Raya, Zouma, TAA, Trippier, Botman, Salah (c), Saka, Martinelli, Kane, Watkins, and Edouard Bench- DDG Henry Mitoma, Rashford 0ITB. Eduoard one week punt, as will become fodder after this GW

Just wondering whether or not to take a -8 for Kane to Jota, but Kane rarely blanks 2 GWs in a row??

    A. Kane (-4) already done a hit.
    B. Jota -8 to set up 33/34

I honestly feel as though the Kane bad press is madness. It's one thing not selecting him on a free hit but taking minus points to get an alternative in for strikers he has outscored all season long apart from one GW is not good decision making IMO

Yeah agree with this reckon he could score one not point taking a hit for another who has to score 2

Who would you have for the 7th and last attacking position out of Bowen/Olise/Solanke/Andreas/Other?
Right now im kinda locked on:
    Johnstone
    TAA, Robbo, Trippier
    Salah, Saka, Martinelli, Eze
    Jesus, Watkins

      A...Easy
Solanke has 5 goals for the whole season and only scored 1 of them at home.

Biggest problem with FH is picking 15 good players is easyish, it's choosing which 3 to bench is harder.

    Raya
    Trippier, Zinchenko*, Botman
    Salah, Saka, Martinelli, Maddison
    Watkins, Kane, Solanke

    (Kepa*, Mitoma*, Shaw*, Estupina*)

Given that Zinchenko might be out, is getting Andersen or Gabriel for the run-in worth a -4 hit? (I plan to FH34)

Would stick. Clean sheets might be hard to come by this week. If Zinchenko plays they’ve as good a chance as any team to get one.

Zinc back in training I believe. Not worth the hit

    FH:

    Gakpo
    Guehi
    Solanke/ Isak (bench)
(Could also bench Eze to play the striker)

    Or

    Kane
    Robertson
    Pereira (bench)

    Martinelli, saka, salah, eze
    Watkins, kane, jota

This is my FH team. Suggestion?

Don’t like Kane this week myself. Would go for Jesus and switch White to another defender

    Willian or Olise?

Both good punts. Our defence is dreadful but I’d say Olise more central to his team a,one with Eze and Palace in good form right now.
