Does seem like Maddison will miss out next GW. Have to think GW4 is a risk too given it's right ahead of the International Break & surely you'd be cautious.

Bit annoyed by that but it is what it is!

    Onana
    Chilwell Saliba Estupiñán
    Rashford Saka Martinelli Maddison* Eze
    Haaland Jackson
    Turner // Udogie Pedro Kabore

    A) Maddison > Foden
    B) Pedro > Alvarez
    C) Save FT (Play Udogie or Pedro?)
    D) Other?

Main reason I don't like B is that I can't move Eze on to an alternative 6.5m and above if I knew I wanted to keep Eze & sell Rashford instead it'd be easier, but potentially forces me into a hole.

My bench is decent this week so holding is an option too.

I would do B and start Alvarez and bench Maddison potentially for those 2 GWs and have him back after IB.

Obviously, there is a lot of love for Mbeumo, Mitoma and March.

It is just that we are always trying to buy the past which usually doesn't work out as expected.

Maybe too early for playing strictly against the template, but also no need for panic transfers and throwing away the whole pre-season ideas and plans.

There always been a very obvious case for Mbeumo from the start. Cheap OOP mid in an attack minded team.
Brighton are also looking very fluid in attack. I don’t own a Brighton mid yet, but I remember punting on March last year after a couple of good weeks and it backfired, with Mitoma then being the pick.

I'm giving Rashford one more week. I feel like if Utd play Sancho as a false 9 like they did a few times in pre season (or start Martial) and move Rashford back to the left, he should be more effective

This WC maxes out my funds, which might trick me into going with it instead of better options that cost less overall.

    Onana, Areola

Tbh I don't really like it.

The funds are too spread imo and you have a bench headache every week.

I'd have triple Chelsea in Sanchez, Chilwell, Jackson as well as Foden in midfield as a core to a WC right now.

      1. Feanor
        • 16 Years

        1. Ze_Austin
          • 7 Years

That's the issue with a WC based on so little data

They could continue like this for the next few GWs, or the West Ham performance might be a blip and they'll be more like they were vs Liverpool

Or maybe the West Ham game wasn't actually bad, but perceptions are usually tinted by results

I really don't know. That's my point though

Im sure its been asked to death so I apologise but I’ve stayed off of most social media and here after 2 awful GWs.

Gabriel - is he going to play this weekend? Surely with Timber and Tomi out he gets a start this week? He’ll be gone in GW4 but I just need him this week.

What do you think? If he is worth getting rid would we say Gusto is secure for next 2-3 weeks?

I also have him but I can’t see him playing. Back four will be Zin Saliba White Partey. Havertz would have to be dropped for Gabriel to start. Partey would then go into midfield.

Think he probably starts, although I thought that before GW2 too... Tomi's suspension should make it more likely. But I have no idea what's going on, and it might just be worth getting rid so you don't have to think about it anymore.

I have Gusto and reckon he should start until James is back.

I would keep Richarlison and get rid of Eduard (even for a hit to get Alvarez).
Think the Bournemouth-game decides if Rich has to go...

Think I might just have to eat the Gabriel price drop because I want to use my FTs to making attacking moves. Would have Cash (Burnley away) on the bench, and maybe Joao Pedro too

If I’m downgrading Salah to Foden, I’ll have so much money in the bank, that 0.1 should be meaningless right?

Just checking I’m not going mad!

This is what I did. Now just trying to work out if a -4 to get him out too is worth out 0.1m.

My instinct says no because (famous last words) I can’t see that 0.1 holding me back anytime soon

I just had a look at the players I might being in in coming weeks depending on this week's results. I can comfortably afford those I'd want, so yes in this case the 0.1 is all good

Hard to know exactly what we'll want to do but we can always have a fairly good idea! Good luck to you this week mate.

Is Maddison ruled out? I am not seeing confirmation either way.

    Best option?

    A) Gabriel to Gvardiol for -4, play Gvardiol instead of Udogie.

    B) Bench Gabriel, play Udogie, and lose 0.1m when Gab drops tonight.

      B. Udogie a good option

    Good to go?

    Ederson
    Chilwell - Saliba - Estupinan
    Rashford - Saka - Martinelli - Foden - Eze
    Haaland - Jackson

    Turner - Pedro - Kabore - Baldock

    No hits. 🙂
