Looking at these clean sheet odds, do i fall into the Gabriel trap again or start Henry?

For context I'm also starting Gusto and Estupinan.

GW3 clean sheet odds - top 11 for no apparent reason:

    MNC: 61%
    CHE: 52%
    ARS: 51%
    MNU: 48%
    BHA: 41%
    BRE: 38%
    EVE: 35%
    AST: 32%
    TOT: 29%
    WOL: 29%
    CRY: 23%

      I’ve sold

If it wasn’t the constant cameo’s and he was staying on the bench I would have kept another week but the fact Arteta keeps bringing him on makes it double annoying when he doesn’t start

        I agree.

He keeps taking my first sub points. 5 with Henry last week.

But come Friday he edges back into contention because of clean sheet odds!

I'll sell but not for a hit.

I got rid of Saliba until the situation about Gabriel and this 'new system' is cleared up. Arsenal have have got the wins they wanted but have not been anywhere near convincing.

I am even in two minds about keeping Saka after this GW.

Team news thing, He came on sub as the 1st defender on Monday. Depends on how fit Zinc is i guess. Think Brentford Palace will be 0-0 or 1-1. Often is.

I think Henry is 100% nailed and a great attacking option in that position. I don't have the same thoughts for AWB, though when he wants to attack, he can, but just too unpredictable...

Cheers mate!!! I agree completely on both points there!! Brentford just seem that bit more solid as a unit from the evidence seen from the first 2 games from both sides which makes me lean more to Henry too, I’m even tempted to start him over Gusto too but then i think I’ve gotta start Gusto for Luton at home so makes me lean back that way to him

    Pickford (Arebola)
    Shaw Henry Estupinan (Gabriel, Kabore)
    Saka Mitoma Eze Salah Rashford
    Haaland Pedro (Mubama)

    2FTs
    (A) Chilwell & Mbeumo for Salah / Gabriel
    (B) Jackson & Mbeumo for Salah / Mubama
    (C) Gusto for Gabriel
I personally prefer Option A esp since players like Chilwell & Mbeumo r growing in popularity and I will not be able to afford them if their prices continue to rise every week! Plus Gusto will lose his place once James returns from injury so might as well invest in Chilwell now! Is it the right option?

Looking at the article above and given a choice I'd have Alvarez over Foden.

Both great but Alvarez is shooting more.

Then, what do i know as i started with Foden then switched to Diaby and thereby missed both of their scores in gw2 and 1 respectively!

      I switched to Diaz.
Diaz got 7 and Foden got 9.

Only real option is Diaz to Foden again. Don't want to ditch Watkins to Alvarez after Ollies hatrick.

Benching headache can be a pain and if benched players score well (I had Mitoma on my bench last week) it can be frustrating.

But I understand why you have depth because of rotation etc.

    A) Rashford/Salah/Martinelli —> Foden (FT)

One game only no. But it’s more complex than that. You want to give Rashford 1 more game and then it’ll be a little clearer on what to do. I’d want Salah for the following fixtures but then he might be off to sell his soul.
Martinelli might profit from Jesus being back in the team etc. like I said, a lot of things to unpack.

            1. Ibralicious

Fair enough. Would have more clarity in the coming weeks but with so many underperforming assets and a bench full of duds, at least a hit like (C) seemed like a decent gamble to freshen things up.

Well if it helps, I’d only consider C anyway. For full disclosure Im selling Rashford but that’s mainly to upgrade 2 players so it’s worth it. 2 FTS to do Rashford and Lukic to Mitoma and Mbeumo.

His soul is in Mecca I guess 🙂

Is Jesus back this weekend? Or next?

I think i may sell Salah this week, and bring in Diaz next for Rashford. Salah just didn't look on it against Bournemouth, but unsure, hence my question earlier, but I maybe falling for Foden's performance last weekend.

Well my logic would say next but who knows. I’m in no rush to sell Marti with as Jesus returns again. With Salah I can afford to just sit back and see things from a wider angle.

very true about Arsenal, and they have Fulham this week, so it is an easier hold than Man Utd assest IMO. (then Utd, and Everton)

                  0ITB 2FT

                  Johnstone (Turner)
                  Estu, Chilwell, Saliba (Gusto, Kabore)
                  *Salah, Rashford, Saka, Maddison, Eze
                  Haaland, Pedro, (Archer)

                  A. Salah to Foden and Archer to 1,2,3 (bench Madders if out). https://twitter.com/pokeefe1/status/1693956223656186035
B Rashford to Foden (play Gusto if Madders is out). Roll other Transfer

                  1. Isak
                  2. Alvarez
                  3. Jackson

                  * I may reverse Salah to a Diaz/Jota next week (not because of transfer rumours, but my plan was to capt Salah GW2 and sell to free up funds)

  15. h3nh3n

    Turner (Johnstone)
    Chilwell Saliba Estupinan R.Lewis (Kabore)
    Salah Rashford Saka Mbeumo (Eze)
    Haaland Pedro (Osula)

    0.5 ITB - 2FT

Thinking of Salah to Foden (or Sterling?), which frees me up for so many options.
Pedro to Jackson can be made this week, but I might roll a FT so I have 2 again next week to reassess.
    Thoughts?

      gtg

if bench is J Pedro would put first sub as
feel he might go in rotation with Wellbeck.

      GW1 - Home - J Pedro started
      GW2 - Away - Wellbeck started
      GW3 - Home - ????

That’s nothing. I Beth that 27 almost came in one week. I was tied with a guy in mine. Then he got 31 and I got 61 and all of a sudden I’m way ahead. But he could catch up this week.

It just worries me that I wasn't mbuemo but Fullham being shiet and Arsenal will batter them with Martinelli hauling.

Without the red card in the last game and the penalties, don't think people would be talking about him as much.

    B. Wissa to Jackson

Is the de zerbi presser done? Anything concrete on enciso/pedro? I might be benching pedro & doing baldock to Chilwell using FT
Having gotten away without Chilwell for 2 GWs, shouldn't take my chances against him in a run of plum fixtures right?

    1. Muller Reus Corner
      • 5 Years

Enciso is apparently out until the new year. RDZ previously mentioned Pedro has competition in Ferguson and Welbeck. So would transfer in Chilwell.

After a dismal start I've activated my WC this weekend (I know, I know)

This is what I've settled in:

    Martinez (Areola)
    Chilwell, Gvardiol, Estu (Udogie, Gusto)
    Salah, Bueno, Saka, Mitoma (Sarr)
    Haaland (C), Jackson, Wissa

    0.9 ITB

Playing a 3-4-3 leaves the likes of Udogie & Gusto on the bench who both have a great chance of a clean sheet but don't know how to get them into the starting lineup.

How's it looking? Would you change anything either transfers or starting lineup?

    Thanks lads

      Bruno to Foden.

I have Gusto on the bench and could score more than Jackson

          Probably is.

Would you go Ødegaard over Saka now?

Would you pick Salah on a wildcard now?

            It is Mbueno sorry.

I think Salah is a must personally. No other midfielders have consistently scored more points than him
