    My current back line:

    Dubravka (Areola)
    Porro, Lascelles, Taylor, (Tsimikas, Gabriel)

Should I use a FT here or swap out someone with a more favourable fixture? I have 8.9m itb

GW25 same as GW 12, GW17 the same as GW32, presume they're all repeats of the same games from a GW in 1-19. Never knew this was a thing

Well. It is normal that each GW happens twice. But usually, the sequence should be more like GW 1 - GW20
          GW 2- GW 21
          GW 19 - GW 38.

That's how it works in Germany but not in England. It has always been slightly odd with the second legs.

But such a close proximity between now and the beginning of February for two GW feels weird.

Yeah, weird indeed. IIRC, we've had even smaller gaps between a GW and its reverse previously. In the 21/22 season, GW24 mirrored GW20, barely a month apart.

        2. Zeeshz
          • 2 Years

Some GWs take the reverse fixtures from two or more past GWs. For instance, GW21 has (the reverse of) 7 fixtures from GW2 and 3 fixtures from GW7. So, there may not always be exact repeats

Made an error with my moves last week!!! Took Trippier out as part of a -8 - it did pay off as Porro got 8 points. Would you just bring him back for free this week? Cash to Trippier?

    Cash, Geuhi, Porro
    Salah, Saka, Son, Palmer, Gordon
    Watkins, Cunha

    Saka, Bowen, Salah, Palmer, Martinelli

Can’t wait to get rid of Martinelli as he always plays well with no goals or assists. 4m itb.

The Premier League's lawbook states that there are three different options for how the match can continue.

From talkSport "Firstly, both teams could resume play from the point at which the match was abandoned - the 65th minute of play - with the scores remaining the same.

Alternatively, the Premier League could call the result of the match without completing the remaining allotted time, which appears to be the least likely to happen of the three options.

The final option, meanwhile, is to replay the entire match from the beginning. According to talkSPORT, this is 'the most likely option' at this stage, and that it is 'unlikely' that either team would contest that decision.

Not as funny as all the non owners desperate for owners to lose their points so as to boost their own rank.

Ah, but that isn’t funny, because it’s actually going to happen, unlike Solanke’s baps 😉

Whether it happens or not, I find it pretty funny how desperate plenty are to benefit from the situation.

On top of it comes the dream about an added DGW.

6 points + 3 baps + dgw later. Must be fair when they transfered him in with a FT they say 😀

Put aside the mushrooms I say.

I've got Solanke but if the game gets wiped I have Palmer and Lascelles coming in with 14 & 6

Why would anyone in their right mind bench Palmer at home to Sheffield United?

Well it's all been working for me so far. I had a strong bench, go figure, but thank you for your input. :oD

Do we think Henderson is likely to keep his place in the Palace cage?

Yes. Palace forums bugging him up.

Schar > Konsa is the obvious one, right?
Also, would you play Saliba over Semenyo? The half time sub last round has me thinking he might be dropped

    Rest of the team:

    Dubravka
    Porro Trent Schar*
    Salah Saka Bowen Gordon Palmer
    Solanke Semenyo*

Yes, to both. The top of the table clash might well be a 'too-big-to-lose' 0-0 game, so I would play Saliba over an xMins risk like Semenyo

Actually just clocked I need to use my wildcard before the new year so I might as well do Haaland > Watkins, play Saliba, sort Schar next week and reshuffle in gw20

I'd also consider Neto (has form+fixtures)

    Anything against getting Martinez?
Don't really see many CS for Everton and Newcastle right now, could eventually consider Leno but really thinking AV looks the best.

Seems a solid pick for me. Near his price point, Raya's probably the only other keeper I'd consider - but unnecessary if you have other ARS defenders

Main thing I don't like about him vs. Leno is he likes a card
7 YCs last season, 3 so far this one
      Good pick overall though
If Dubravka stays as main GK through Jan, he does look better value given Newcastle defence is good and will have the likes of Botman coming back... Bit of an if there though

    Early thoughts

    Team is

    Dubravka (Areola)
    Porro Lascelles Tsmikas (Gabriel Maguire)
    Salah Son Saka Palmer Gordon
    Darwin Watkins (Archer)

    Thinking:

    A. Roll
    B. Maguire to Pau/Konsa and bench Tsmikas
    C. Darwin to Solanke

All options leave enough cash for Darwin/Solanke to Haaland in one move if fit for 19.

    Thoughts?

C sounds best but if it's for 1 week only, you might be better off with A or B tbh

I'm in a similar situation, only difference being I have Mitchell instead of Maguire, so if I don't take him out for Pau/Konsa I will need to play him against Brighton at home (alternative is Kabore vs Newcastle, which I am not doing).
I'm not sure who I want to get rid of first, Mitchell or Darwin, probably Darwin, but the issue is that Darwin to Solanke means using a FT for a one week punt provided I am getting Haaland back in 19 if fit. So C could be best for this week, but overall is probably the worst move. Could roll as well just to have 2 FTs for 19 for safety, but I think I will just get a Villa defender in this week, then Haaland in 19 and take it from there in 20.

Still have wildcard, any thoughts on what to do with this?

    Pickford,
    TAA, Porro, Gabriel
    Salah, Son, Saka, Gordon, Palmer
    Watkins (C), Alvarez*

    Turner, Archer, Tsimikas, Kabore

    1 FT 3.1 ITB

    A) Kabore > Tripper
    B) Alvarez > Wilson/Solanke
    C) Kabore + Alvarez > Tripper + Wilson/Solanke (-4)
    D) Other

If Solanke hadn't scored, not many of those espousing fairness and integrity would have been bothered.

That works both ways though doesn't it?

I've got Solanke in my team, and Senesi.

If the game gets wiped I've got Palmer, Zinchenko, & Lascelles coming in and looks like I'll jump to the top of ML.

I wish they'd hurry up and take the decision, although I am slightly worried that it might be being delayed because Tom Locker is in a very bad way indeed and it's just terribly sad.

If he had got a red card would that have stood still and he have to do 1 match ban?

Interesting question - I would guess that if it was for violent conduct or one of the bad ones there would still be a ban, but if it was two yellows or a professional foul or something, I'm not so sure if it would stand.

Cooper on the verge of being replaced by Nuno according to The Guardian. Some reward for getting them promoted and then staying up with 500 new signings thrown at him. Its not as though they're all that close to the bottom three given the bottom three's inability to gather points either. Forest would have had enough under Cooper to stay up and stablise IMO.
