I'd assume so otherwise they can't allocate rivals for the Cup games if they haven't given us autosubs (not just for Solanke - i am waiting on my Isak sub too)

Ha! It also told me to buy DCL... I don't really think its worth the hassle when both are (sort of) fit, especially since you'll never get anything useful out of Howe. I'm just leaving Jimi as my 8th attacker & playing 352 for now

      1. The Mentaculus

Oh Alvarez... I think I still prefer the template options of Watkins/Solanke. Doesn't matter about missing the Luton fixture for the latter imo, as Bournemouth attack is better against bigger teams that'll leave spaces at the back for their high turnovers to be effective

Howe's comments (I know) suggest that neither is 100%. If Isak starts tonight against Chelsea, then I think Wilson is a decent shout for the weekend. If Wilson starts then, it's a wait and see if Isak is fit or not.

Wow. No CS’s at all is amazing at the mid point of the season. I am pretty bad too but at least had Sanchez for his penalty save at OT and that’s about it (and apart from that he was pathetic for me). TBH there really hasn’t been any obvious standout keepers to have this season.

Is getting rid of Son and Salah "a must" for international duties?

Bought Son at 9.3 (9.8) and Salah at 12.5 (13.2)...

    What are you doing?

    1. Atimis
      • 9 Years

      Selling most likely

    2. Brimble82
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 3 months ago

      I've been contemplating this too.
My team is loaded at the moment (TAA, Trips, Salah, Son, Bowen, Watkins, Haaland (in waiting))
But if I ditch Salah/Son, I'm confident they won't drop enough to buy back at what I sell them (4/3 drops required respectively).

I don't see myself holding them (as it's just too much cash to bench for multiple GWs), but realistically, I'll probably be forced to hold one for the sake of squad balance upon their return.

    3. Conners
      • 7 Years

Selling to buy TAA, Bowen and one of Ode/Kulu/Rich probably.

      And Haaland of course.

    4. Salarrivederci
      • 9 Years
      2 years, 3 months ago

Glad I used BB already 😉

I am getting rid of both I think. 100% Salah to bring back Haaland, but most likely also Son.

Bought for 12.5 and 9.2, but even if they do not drop at all I can still WC into a team like this:

      Dubravka
      TAA - Trippier - Porro
      Salah - Son - Palmer - Olise
      Haaland - Watkins - Solanke
      (Turner, Taylor, McAtee, Kaboré)

Which is not too bad. Olise could be Gordon with a few drop in price. Still a pretty good 3-4-3

      1. Salarrivederci
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 3 months ago

But yes. Think you should sell. I might stick with Son if no mids tempt me, and I can accept playing one of Taylor/Sarabia/Tsimikas or someone like that week in week out.

Really tempted by Bailey just afraid of the minutes, thoughts on him?

Douglas Luiz also with good stats from AV, nailed on, just with no output recently. Considering Rich or Bowen as well but the AV fixtures looking prime right now.

Final day of deciding, any last input is appreciated please! Managed to climb from 3M OR in GW5 to 650K (higher if Solanke's points are removed) this last GW.

    2FTs, 3.1M ITB.

    Areola^
    Porro, Tsimi, Lascells
Salah (c), Saka, Bowen, Gordon, Palmer
    Watkins, Semenyo

    Kelleher^, Gabriel, Gusto, Haaland*

    A) Lascelles > Trippier
    B) Gusto > Trippier
    C) Tsimikas > Trippier
    D) Semenyo > Solanke
    E) Kelleher & Lascelles > Dubravka & Trippier

Also thinking the same, but could also not start at all.

      G) other

You need some differential to climb the ranks. A lower ownership player whose pts will mean more vs those around you.

One comes to mind it’s a gamble tho.

      Semenyo > Nketiah

4% ownership has been nibbling mins but could put out over the Xmas games for full mins. Is known for explosive pts scoring.

Keep an eye too of the differential articles they usually come out same day as transfer deadline

Good luck and nice rank climb!

I own them all btw and are considering selling Darwin. 1 goal in 11 games is shocking.

Just replace Darwin with a 4.0m equivalent then you'll feel better benching.

Solanke and Son are on pens so always a chance of a goal
      Darwin is at home
Gordon and Newcastle's poor away form

Gordon benched this week for me

Thanks for your opinions! Surprisingly inconclusive results. I think I'll bench Darwin now and wait and see how the cup matches seem to go.

If KDB has returned to training, and city get a dgw in gw21, KDB should be fit enough by then, to be a starter.

    1. Thats a few planets needed to align

Not that many. He's already training so thats the first bit. Pep might have leaked the 21 dgw bit.

Even a fully-fit KDB may not start two games in a week. It's Pep

Yeah, that could easily happen but if its a double gameweek, id be prepared to take the gamble. Especially with city dropping more points than usual. There's a gap in fixtures by the time 21 comes around

I'm interested on who could potentially benefit e.g. get the impression that Foden could be a better asset with KDB playing?

It depends if pep plays him deep as more holding/playmaker mid or attacking mid. If deeper will benefit whoever is playing attacking mid. I haven’t looked back at the stats yet but last time he was out for a while if I remember correctly pep messed with his position the first couple of gw’s

    Areola (Turner)
    Lascelles,Gabriel,Udogie, [Anderson,Branthwaite]
    Salah,Son, Saka, Gordon, palmer
    Haland, Watkins, [Archer]
    FT:2, BANK:0.9m
    A. Haaland, Udogie-> Solanke, TAA /Porro
    B. Anderson, Udogie -> Porro, Tsimikas/Pau
    C. Areola, Udogie-> Neto, Pau
    D. Any other
If haland is out for more than 2 gws then only A will be selected. Also suggest if any -4 worth also

Would you do Livramento to Trippier for a hit?

For mid term that would be paid off, don't you think?

You have 2 def from the same team, no one knows future attack/bonus returns for a def. The answer is always going to be b)
