Our team of Hall of Famers and guest writers are offering regular contributions throughout the 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) campaign. Here, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman shares his current squad and reveals his big team decisions for Gameweek 23.

GAMEWEEK 22

A Gameweek rank of 327k resulted in a healthy green arrow, moving up to 163,797 overall.

I’ve actively been trying to do something a little different recently, searching high and low for Mohamed Salah (£13.1m) and Son Heung-min (£9.7m) replacements.

I didn’t want a differential for the sake of it, but I did want a player more if my mini-league rivals didn’t have him.

The approach led me to Diogo Jota (£8.0m) in Gameweek 21, just before his haul at Bournemouth, and Kevin De Bruyne (£10.7m) in Gameweek 22, so it’s been a decent period in which I’ve been able to build up a bit of momentum.

        Seen him probably 25-30 times. Even though I have seen multiple shows with Petty and also multiple with the GD, the numerous shows I saw 99-01 are my favorites. Great band plus Dylan was so committed to live shows in that era. As mentioned in Chronicles, he had an epiphany during the 87 Europe tour with Petty that had him recommit to live performances and it really showed beginning around 92

      You're fortunate where you are with how often you can see some of the greats, but we get them only now and again. I saw Van, Neil and Bob (& Tom) in a 12 month period between '85 & '86 though, so can't complain too much!

        If only Oz was nearer! The greats only tour occasionally to the Southern Hemisphere because of geography (obviously you realise this, lol). On the plus side, you don't have rain for 48 weeks each year and no Brexit. On balance, i think we are neutral!

        One of the greatest tours ever in my opinion! I've heard that Sara was watching him sing this at one of the shows on that tour (maybe even that one?). But then again, have heard Bob try to claim it wasn't about her... 😉

    Agree about Foden, seems odd. Can't remember seeing many people drop when they're in the Scout picks. That said, if I had my time again I think I wouldn't have picked him. Better options out there, but if you have him it seems weird to drop him

        Saka is doing well at the moment, stats are good and now maybe starting to back that up with returns. On pens too (mostly). I think Liverpool will win but I do think arsenal will score and very likely to be Saka who gets a goal. But it's more that id take Saka over Garnacho in any fixture.

I can't believe that Haaland is already back to 14.1 mio.

His price drop like a bird's feather falling from the sky compared to his ownership which should have brought him down to 13.5 or even lower.
