BLANK GAMEWEEK 29

For many, including myself, Blank Gameweek 29 was probably the least enjoyable of the season. Just one attacking return, no clean sheets and a red card, which resulted in 21 points on a Free Hit.

Plenty went wrong, of course, but all we can do is try to identify the likeliest scenarios and hope they play out, which isn’t always the case.

The key now is to avoid overreacting to a poor Gameweek by making substandard decisions.

On a positive note, my original squad (see below) have some decent fixtures this week and eight of them ‘double’ in Gameweek 34, which helps my chip strategy for the run-in.

      It depends on who you bench, and if the move is to make the 34 better. I did Watkins to Darwin to facilitate Salah and I'm benching Ødegaard (and in the process I'm keeping Ødegaard for the double in 34 and I sold Kluivert who was a mistake). As long as you can live with the risk of Watkins and the other one you sell hurting you, I see some merits in doing it. You must also be weary that Darwin could get benched vs Shu.

Hello Guys what do you reckon?

I am currently on WC and will be using the FH in GW34, as it stands I will be able to get 15 out for 37 with transfers also.

I’m not sure if I am thinking too far ahead and missing out on points now. I am potentially looking at bringing Madders in for Saka and then switch Madders out for Saka in GW31. This will allow me to get 14 DGW players for 37 with transfers. I doubt I will sell Salah anyway for 37.

So the question is

A) Switch Saka for Madders and play Madders
B) Don’t switch Saka for Madders and play Saka
C) Don’t switch Madders for Saka and play Garnacho.

Is the best plan for me to get Son and maybe a hit for a Liverpool player before dead ending my squad into DGW34 before using WC for the run in?

I haven't had signal for 2 weeks whilst working away so am now playing catch up!
