What we need tonight is Liverpool dealing Sheffield United a beatdown of biblical proportions!

At least 6 goals and a Salah hatty would do very nicely indeed.

I agree with Salah’s hatty (no assists please) but prefer a 3-4 for the blades.

    Option 1: BB34 + FH37:

Pros: better teams doubling and players you'll want all the way till 38.
Cons: will need to lose spurs and bring them back again (unless WCing in 35).

    Option 2: FH34 + BB37:

Pros: can hold onto spurs players.
Cons: can become tricky in GW38 when you'll want Arsenal and Liverpool again. BB37 could also be tricky if rotation becomes an issue.

Personally, I'm WCing in 33 and leaning towards option 1, but do feel free to add to the pros and cons list so it's beneficial to everyone who are still deciding between the two strategies.

      • 12 Years

2, focus on the doubles, not 38

In that case aren't the better doubles in gw34?

Admittedly we don't have all the gw37 ones so would need to refresh my memory.

        1. Bob B
          • 12 Years

You'll struggle to bring in all the players you need to optimise both doubles if you BB in 34.

FH34 gives you 15 doublers, 6 in 36, 15 in 37 then you can bring in Salah for 38 (only have to lose him for one game in the worst case).

You mean 11 doublers in 34.

11 to play but you can have 15 in your squad

I think option 2 has more upside. The key thing for BB37 to be a success is the title race. I fear all three teams are still going for it, rotation will not happen (barring injuries of course).

I may be bias, but I am doing FH34, BB37.

      1. I Member
        • 10 Years

I don't get this. Arsenal and Liverpool don't double in 37. Why would the title race be key to BB37?

I prefer 1 even without a FH, trouble is without Haaland i may need him for GW33 i may not so, i may even WC33 with this team now.

      Neto (Turner)
      Gabriel, VVD Gusto (Estu Doherty)
      Palmer, Saka, Salah, Foden, Son
      Solanke, Darwin (Semenyo)

I can get Newcastle FW;'s only unless Pope is back), a couple of Man Utd, a couple of Spurs and a couple of Chelsea, a Trip Man City, but there are just too many hits now.

BB34 is better than BB37 i think, as at least there are chances of a CS, (I dont see any in GW36,37 or 38) except maybe Man City, but i do with Liverpool and Arsenal.GW38 and even GW37 so I may hold a few back a play SGWers GW37/38 with fictures in mind.

I don't see Chelsea keeping anyway CS, (amybe spurs in GW37) so what's the point of a 4 point unless they are a Gusto assist?
