Saka put his leg into neuer. Tried to win the penalty, in other words he cheated

Should have been booked. Disgraceful behaviour and rightly not given. Just weird he wasn’t booked

Kane has done that plenty of times as has salah. Salah basically won Liverpool the title with those dives

No its not. Next year cl is gonna be more exciting with all games even in group stages counting for something. Just wait and see.
The current group stage format is predictable 90%.

        1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
          • 5 Years

I fail to see how. If you find the current group stage boring in a year in which we had a group of death like Newcastle, Dortmund, PSG and Milan, or seeing ManUtd finishing bottom in a group containing Copenhagen and Galatasaray, then I don't know how you'll find a system tailor-made to ensure the bigger sides have the best chance of getting through will be better. More teams (likely a further dilution of quality), a seeding system ensuring the bigger sides will face 6/8 fixtures against sides ranked worse than them in the tournament, and more matches meaning more room for those bigger sides to make up for shock results. Even sides finishing as low as 15th or 16th will be seeded to play sides finishing 17th to 24th to ensure that some sides (that in a current year wouldn't be good enough to progress, like Milan or Newcastle) get another chance.

Haaland a no brainer (C) vs Luton?

    --------Haaland---------
    Doku KDB Alvarez Bobb
    -------Rodri Lewis------
    Gvardiol Dias Akanji
    ---------- Ederson-----------

Haaland was pretty much static the whole match against Madrid. Didn't do much running

Meanwhile likes of Grealish Foden and Bernardo ran their legs off so is more likely to get a rest imo

Yeah, I expect Haaland to start. Get a couple of goals before the return leg as he didn't get much of a look in tonight.

May even be needed defensively at corners with his aerial threat.

I'm not sure 90 mins of being manhandled by Rudiger is that relaxing. I agree he's likely to start, but don't think it's clear cut.

I wouldn’t say no brainer, he’s still a lot more likely to be benched than Salah

Well pep is not going to change his entire lineup when title race is on the line is he?

I can see likes of KDB Alvarez Doku and Bobb who didn't start tonight getting a run in against Luton.

Is KDB nailed on to start then?

Pep on Foden injury (to TNT):

"A knock, he was grumpy with me because I made a substitution. He made another fantastic goal."

Foden asked if he is okay: "I hope so, I've got a bad dead leg. A bit of time to recover and hopefully I can."

Found this a bit odd. The replay clearly shows Camavinga catching him on the achilles and Foden in a lot of discomfort.

Is it possible that he's been told by Man City's medical staff to not give anything away?
