      My guess would be:

Saka exaggerating his injury because of the controversial no penalty decision.
Foden with a sore achilles and might not be risked vs Luton.

Yep, this is how read it. Exaggerating the injury to deflect from his embarrassment at trying to buy a pen rather than trying to score.

I think the way it’s fallen with KDB getting a rest (due to illness) today and Foden picking up a knock means we won’t see Foden this weekend. I’m expecting to bench him unless there’s any indication he starts

Newcastle feels like a prime fixture for Son to return against anyway (more-so than I thought Forest would be).

I would ignore Foden this week if I were in that position, play Son and then move Son to a DGW-er.

Essentially did similar in my team last week though as sold Foden for Diaz when he was announced benched, and would have been without him GW33.

What to do here. I have 2 FTs &

    Pickford, Petrovic
    Gabriel, Ait-Nouri, Gusto, Bradley, Udogie
    Son, Salah, Gordon, Palmer, Saka
    Muniz, Darwin, Haaland

Was thinking of doing Gordon & Muniz > Garnacho/Sarabia & Solanke.

    Darwin > Solanke?

    Dubravka
    Gabriel - VVD - Saliba
    Palmer - Saka - Salah - Son
    Solanke - Haaland - Darwin

What’re you planning on doing with any remaining chips? If nothing for 34 and 35, you could do palmer to Garnacho this week (great fixture 34 and 35, and decent this week) and do Sarabia to Palmer in 35 after the wolves double

      1. RICICLE
        • 3 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

Oh apologies it would have helped to mention what I’m doing.

Well essentially just dead ending into 34, WC’ing 35 (FH already used along with TC)

Not a bad shout what you suggest there to be fair, but very hesitant to lose Palmer solely for price really as I got him at 4.9, really don’t fancy paying all that extra for him back.
I have even been thinking about BB in 34 as more cause for key players playing.

        Something like: Dubravka + Areola + Baldock + Son > Pickford + Neto + Anderson/Munoz + Eze

That would give 13 DGW’ers for a -4 along with Haaland and Palmer, just not sure yet though.

It’s burning the free this GW that feels wasteful, I have NEVER burned a FT haha!

Yeah something like that could work - with your team it does feel like either you need to burn it (not a bad thing to do btw - think how often a transfer backfires/doesn’t work out!) or use Son as a cash cow and set up for a big 34. That could work well, though Son at Newcastle could be risky to lose

          1. RICICLE
            • 3 Years
            2 years, 2 months ago

Cheers FP, yeah quite liking the BB in 34 idea, can focus solely on main 11 then WC35.
Very true, making transfers for the sake of it can often backfire. I could even do Areola > Ortega knowing full well Ortega won’t play and just to simply make a move and create some funds, but wouldn’t need the funds getting rid of Son for his blank.
Really do not wanna lose him before Newcastle, reckon that could be a very open game.

It’s either Ortega or burn the Free really, what a luxery position.

    Neto

    Gusto Gab Bradley
    Salah Saka Havertz Palmer Son
    Darwin Halaand

    Muniz Ait-Nouri Braithwaite Pickford

    A. Son & Bradley > Foden & Robbo/VVD (have to play Muniz in 34BB, or use the transfer for Gusto to a very cheap doubler).

    B. Son & Bradley > Diaz & Mitchell (Can go Muniz to Solanke it 34BB).

How about with the 3 FTs available before your GW35 WC, you do Dubravka, Gusto and Doughty -> Henderson, Branthwaite and Ait Nouri (or Munoz if you don't have enough funds) and play you BB in GW34? I think you'll 13 doublers plus Garnacho and Haaland and I think the DGW fixtures are better in 34.

Have 9 DGW'ers for 34 with a -4 next week. Have to play one non single game defender in Gusto(ars) or Taylor(shu).

Do you think any DGW'er that's not from ARS or LIV is worth a hit this week over just playing Gusto /Taylor.
I'd almost certainly play them this week as well so I'm thinking maybe someone like Aït-Nouri pending news?

Play a single game week player and be 4 points in the hand.

Not think Aït-Nouri -4 vs Not/Ars/Bou outscores Porro vs NewC and Gusto vs Ars?
