Hopefully Spurs win tonight to give them more chance of getting to the Carabao Cup Final!

Would be nice to use free hit in DGW 33 or 36.

Keep Kerkez over Konsa. C if that works in rotation with your other defenders, although maybe the Hall/Kerkez rotation looks better

I think these type of questions require more context such as potential chip plans, number of FTs and future transfers.

With that Spurs backline, Martinelli could go on to get you 2G1A (as long as he starts).
But then Mbeumo against this City defence with an advancing Gvardiol could also be sensible.
      Difficult one.
I'd say Mbeumo for the 90min certainty + pens + threat.

Arsenal played yesterday, Jesus rested, came on 59min.
To answer your question, it's Odegaard + Evanilson out, for:
            A - Mbeumo + J Pedro
            B - Gordon + Jesus

            WDYT?

Unal just tore his ACL so Evanilson is pretty much nailed on now. Granted, I had him and he did nothing, so I sold him, but he should have a clear run in the side now.

I’d probably be inclined to get Gordon for Odegaard as his next four fixtures are gold. Mbuemo’s are tougher, so maybe get him in GW25 when his fixtures turn green again?

1.5m in the bank, 1FT. What's the priority this week?

    a) Semenyo → Eze
    b) Strand Larsen → Joao Pedro
    c) Strand Larsen → Jimenez

For what it's worth if I kept Semenyo I'd probably play him over Wood this GW. Leaning towards using Assistant Manager on (I expect) a cheaper option than Slot so not too concerned about money yet.

    Hi all,

Current defense: milenkovic, colwill, greaves, robinson, gabriel 1FT

I want to be aggressive as I know you lot would suggest saving transfer.

Question is, Colwill to Hall or Konate? i dont think hes worth keeping. (providing no injuries over cup games)

You have enough other defenders so personally would save the FT and keep Colwill. Not as if he is expensive. Also it is quite hard to be aggressive with defenders as generally speaking, the most they return is 6 points.

Jackson is really your only major issue here other than your bench, but that’s what a WC is usually for.

But, you essentially have a WC as you have 5 FT, so well done you!

Semenyo probably plays up top now that Unal and Evanilson are out. I’d actually probably just get rid of your two Chelsea players who are not named Palmer and go get Sels or Pickford in goal and join the Wood brigade up front.

Or downgrade your defence to see if you can fund Haaland, which would be a much wiser use of 5 FTs.

From the eyetest Amad is more likely to score from open play and also has assist potential.

I was looking at the player prices, Salah 13.6 (209 pts) and Haaland 14.8 (123 pts). So if the season ended today and they repriced them both, do you think they'd both come in around 13.5 - 14.0 or would Haaland still be a higher price?

    1. F4L
      • 10 Years
      11 months, 2 days ago

i hope to see next season:

      Saka - 11.5
      Palmer - 12.5
      Haaland/Salah - 14

Haaland has had a down season for sure but could still end up at around 7ppg. the bps system favours him more now and previous 2 seasons was 8.2 points per start and 7.6. think fair to assume anyone hitting/averaging 7.8 ppg+ (around 300 points if started 38 matches) should be pushing 14. i know that's slightly contradictory with Palmer still being at 12.5 after 2 years of doing so, but dont think FPL towers would price 3 players at 13+ at this point. they'll want to give the opportunity to own 3 of these 4

      1. F4L
        • 10 Years
        11 months, 2 days ago

*and to add, i mean maybe Salah can be 13.5, as his previous high is 13. but the bps system changes really have boosted the premiums. and his underlying stats are now the best they've ever been, see if that holds for the rest of the season. i guess down to FPL towers if they think age might catch up with, but doesnt look like it will anytime soon right now. Haaland should be 14 (at least tbh). pricing him too cheap risks another perma cap haaland year if Salah drops off.

Premiums make the game interesting only if they are priced in a way that one can't have them all. And I don't expect them to do that, so I think the less the better.

Two schools of thought: on one hand, 70%+ ownership of the premiums makes it so that players have to get more creative with the rest of their 9/10 players. On the other, it's boring to have a set-and-forget member of your team/captain.

He’s got two more GWs for me then he’s gone.

Got him in GW 14 for the benching, I was 600k. Up to 100k in GW18, 4 straight greens but currently off the back of two reds and sitting at 190K.

The only reason Jackson is still in my team is because Wood has LIV this week....next week he is surely out irrespective of how he performs against BOU

I was looking at my team wondering if I need to WC yet, but what the heck happened to Onana? I've been carrying that dude all season if feels like from 5.1 to 4.9 but the dude was on fire for the first few GW of the season then really not even starting.

Could use a few more voices of reason on this WC team after some more late-night tinkering. TV of even 100, 0 itb. Hoping to bank transfers until the first DGW and then do a mini-WC.

    Verbruggen | Stolarzyk
    Hall | Chalobah | Castagne | Neco | Greaves
    Salah | Palmer | Sarr | Murphy | Amad

Well, in that case, there's not much room for flexibility. Assuming you want Haaland, the rest of the team will be severely compromised. There's no middle ground.

That's why I asked if you played it already, maybe you didn't really need it right now and it would have been more useful down the line. Was your team really that bad?

Yeah, it was pretty poor. At least five players with next to no real value.

Ok, I get it. Unfortunately there's not much to work with. I don't see any possible downgrades - except Palmer/Haaland - so I'd say you are good to go. Good luck!

All of the tinkering is on the margins. Like, Chalobah instead of Munoz to be able to afford Verbruggen instead of Fabianski. That type of deal.

Personally I wouldn’t have Haaland in my team if the TV was low at this point in the season

Yeah, he's kind of a centerpiece here. Banking on City having turned a corner. Obviously, if that turns out not to be the case, it'll be all for nought, but with the rank of 3.8M, what do I have to lose?

Also, look at the next 8 games for City. Don’t let the West Ham result fool you, West Ham were awful and City weren’t that much better.

Their next slate of fixtures is a murderers row of teams! Only really Ipswich is an easy game in that run and they’ve picked up a head of steam lately themselves!

Start him if you have him and hope for some points.

Otherwise, leave well alone as not worth the uncertainty.

3 of those starting mids are wasted picks imo.

Solanke on the bench is even more unnecessary profligacy.

No Isak is the icing on the cake.

I’d save and move Diaz on next week to fund Isak.
