There’s one more Premier League match to come on Sunday.

It’s Manchester United v Arsenal, where the action kicks off at 16:30 BST.

Mikel Arteta has mostly named the same team he sent out against Athletic Club last week.

The only alteration: Ben White in for Jurrien Timber, who had been out for a considerable period and only returned at the end of pre-season.

Viktor Gyokeres starts, with Kai Havertz on the bench.

As for United, Andre Onana has been dropped, so Altay Bayindir starts in goal.

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha also feature from the off, but Amad Diallo and Benjamin Sesko are only named among the substitutes.

Mason Mount gets the nod, potentially as a false nine.

LINE-UPS

Manchester United XI: Bayindir, Yoro, de Ligt, Shaw, Dalot, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu, Mbeumo, Cunha, Mount

Subs: Heaton, Fredricson, Heaven, Maguire, Mainoo, Ugarte, Amad, Sesko, Zirkzee

Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Odegaard, Rice, Saka, Martinelli, Gyokeres

Subs: Kepa, Mosquera, Timber, Lewis-Skelly, Merino, Nwaneri, Trossard, Madueke, Havertz

He was atrocious and will have to perform or lose even more minutes to Delap.

Didn’t get much service. Chelsea were overall very poor today especially Palmer.

For sure but Pedro is a huge risk of getting reduced minutes if the manager decides his first 11 isnt working.

If you thought he was worth picking on Friday then I don't see why?
Started. Didn't get injured. Arguably easier fixture next gameweek

Ndiaye is top at 10% eo according to livefpl, which seems to be ownership for the entire game given I have 74 and isak's showing 11%

People wanting Mbuemo or Cunha in despite zero goals or assists against Everton, Bournemouth, Fiorentina, West Ham or Leeds pre season and in today’s opener at Old Trafford. United could play until midnight tonight and wouldn’t score.

Load up, be my guest and welcome to hell.

I agree, no way that Gyokores flops

      1. x.jim.x

He was shocking today tbf, anonymous. Pressure on Arteta soon if your attack doesn’t start clicking after getting the “missing piece” surely?

        1. Deulofail
          • 10 Years
          11 months, 4 days ago

Not sure he was meant to be the missing piece. Just an available piece for each game’s puzzle. More useful against low blocks, probably. And today, maybe Havertz not quite up to full fitness. He could still play more minutes than Gyokores this season when available. Arsenal needed depth and options to help them get over the line instead of drawing from winning positions and running out of players.

Not to say that I’m not worried about Gyokores. I was never sold in him. But hopefully he will come good and get the goals when required

Feel like Bruno is safer if going United. Mbeumo higher upside if he gets going. Both seem too much with United not having shown anything against weaker sides yet.

Against weaker opponents I would expect Amad to play at RWB and in their last friendly he was underlapping with Mbeumo going wide to create space for him. Dorgu was overlapping on the other side.

I want to see more before I commit to their players. It could very well be Sesko.

P.S. I liked what I saw from them as a team.

catching a 0.1 is not worth transferring out a player you picked last week who hasn't played yet
