There are two Premier League matches kicking off at 14:00 BST.

Brighton and Hove Albion take on Manchester City at the Amex Stadium, while Nottingham Forest and West Ham United meet at the City Ground.

TEAM NEWS

Pep Guardiola makes four changes from the team that lost to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Matheus Nunes, Abdukodir Khusanov, Rodri and Bernardo Silva come in for Rico Lewis, Ruben Dias, Nico Gonzalez and Rayan Cherki, who is missing from the matchday squad.

Phil Foden is also absent.

James Trafford keeps his place in goal, while Rayan Ait-Nouri is fit enough to start after coming off injured in Gameweek 2.

Brighton make three alterations to their starting XI.

The hosts bring in Joel Veltman, Jack Hinshelwood and Diego Gomez.

Mats Wieffer, who is not in the squad, Yasin Ayari and Matt O’Riley make way.

Georginio Rutter returns from injury to make the bench.

It’s much more straightforward team news from Nottingham Forest, who are unchanged.

As for opponents West Ham, Graham Potter has made three changes to the side that lost 5-1 to Chelsea.

Out go Jean-Clair Todibo, Nayef Aguerd and Aaron Wan-Bissaka and in come Kyle Walker-Peters, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Mateus Fernandes, who makes his debut.

LINE-UPS

Brighton and Hove Albion XI: Verbruggen, Veltman, van Hecke, Dunk, De Cuyper, Hinshelwood, Baleba, Minteh, Gomez, Mitoma, Welbeck

Subs: Steele, Gruda, Rutter, Milner, Boscagli, Kadioglu, Ayari, O’Riley, Coppola

Manchester City XI: Trafford, Nunes, Khusanov, Stones, Ait-Nouri, Rodri, Bernardo, Reijnders, Bobb, Marmoush, Haaland

    Halftime at the City Ground

Forest puffing but to little effect

I've got Sels, Milenković and Diouf coming on so a nil-nil not the worst result.

Despite Wood captain and Haaland vc.

If I had had both, I would have captained Haaland and VCd Wood. What was your logic for the other way round? City being very mercurial? As it stands, I have captained Wood so I we are both in the same boat mate. I also have Sels and a Forest def (Nico). At the very least we should get 12 points plus 4 more from Wood if the second half continues the same

Just fancied Forest home to West Ham rather than Haaland at BHA where he normally gets one return.

Also a bit of an edge.

Also have Bruno so still getting their points.

Fair. There are 45 more mins to go and it may end up they are quite close. I suspect another factor is that at City goals can come from several sources, whereas at Forest perhaps just a couple which increases the chances of Wood being involved somehow.

Hopefully Wood gets on the end of a couple and it's 2 nil Forest

        But West Ham look determined

Potters job is on the line to some extent

Only a non footballer would have disallowed that. It's about time that former players were press-ganged into becoming refs.

Double Spurs and Wood(c) here. And I removed Enzo and Richarlison to accommodate Wood as I couldn’t decide between Kudus & Johnson so got both! If I’d left well alone I’d have had Enzo and Pedro(c).

Iraola has showed to be quite the manager, specially after losing basically his whole defence this summer.

      1. Wenger_In

Truffert/ Diakite looks a good buys and Senesi apparently was just waiting to step in. Incredible work really.
Feels like every team is managed by David Moyes and then there's just Iraola.
Idk anything about football now tbh. Chelsea have interesting squad of players.

I also wonder if JP may cement his claim to Palmer's spot in his absence as he is doing well. Palmer has not done a lot in about 20 straight games but does not get dropped. This may give him a kick in the rear end, which I as an England fan for a World Cup year would appreciate.

Premiere League all time top scorers after 100 first matches:

    Haaland 88
    Shearer 79
    van Nistelroy 68
    Agüero 64
    Andy Cole 63
    Fernando Torres 63
    Salah 63
    Fowler 62
    Suárez 62
    Thierry Henry 59
    Kane 59
    Ian Wright 56

Seeing Cole on one of these list always reminds me of what a great goalscorer and CF he was, specially with the fact that he wasn't on pens at all.

Also Haaland is a goal machine haha

Andy Cole was mint. If he had been on pens too I bet he would be around the same goals as Shearer and Haaland given how the refs always gave United pens when they needed one

Free hit question. If you have made say 2 transfers (-4) then Free hit you dont get the -4 back do you?

Also if I i have Wood before I free hit (removing him) and he goes up say 0.2 in price I still get that rise yes?

Carrying on with this FH post you sent TorresMagic

So if -4 or -8 is canceled out in your free hit GW. Does that mean those players we had transferred before hitting the FH chip to get to the -8 would also be removed from the next GW as well ?

Also if we have one FT and use this before hitting the FH chip, does that player in the FT you played stay in the following GW ?
