NOTES
- In goal, I’m backing Nathan Trott. With two home fixtures on the schedule, he feels like the safest route to at least one clean sheet this week.
- Defensively, I’ve opted for Curtis Nelson and Mickey Demetriou. Nelson offers a reliable route into a strong defence, with fixtures that are well-suited to clean sheets. He also brings a solid points floor through bonus potential and carries some goal threat. Demetriou comes in as well, assuming his minutes are secure. He provides his usual dependable floor and remains a clear threat from set pieces, something we’ve seen consistently this season and last.
- In midfield, Lewis Wing is locked in. The fixtures line up perfectly for him, and he’s delivered steady returns throughout the campaign. That consistency makes him my captain this week. Alongside him is Charlie Whitaker, who operates in a key attacking role. His goal threat should come to the fore across two home fixtures.
- Up front, I’m backing Callum Paterson and Ashley Fletcher. Paterson comes into the round in good form, and we’ve already seen his ceiling earlier this season. Fletcher also appeals, with two favourable fixtures against average defences. Given his current run, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him involved in the goals.
- For team selections, I’ve gone with MK Dons and Cardiff City. Both sides have strong fixtures on paper and look well placed to pick up maximum points.

NOTES
- Jake Eastwood gets the nod between the posts, backed by an excellent home record that has seen him concede just nine times.
- At the back, I’ve gone with a defensive pairing of Curtis Nelson and Adam Senior. Nelson has been outstanding since joining MK Dons, combining strong bonus potential with defensive solidity, while Senior adds real attacking threat from full-back.
- In midfield, Charlie Whitaker comes in for his all-round contribution and multiple routes to points, alongside Reading talisman Lewis Wing, who continues to deliver consistent returns.
- Up front, Callum Paterson earns his place on the back of another strong season, having already reached 14 goals. He’s partnered by Ashley Fletcher, who has also impressed with his form and involvement throughout the campaign.
- For team picks, I’ve opted for MK Dons and Chesterfield, both of whom benefit from favourable fixtures this week.
- The captaincy sits with Callum Paterson.
- Good luck all.

NOTES
- Jake Eastwood starts in goal. Cambridge defend well and Eastwood drives that consistency. He has 11 clean sheets, tops League Two goalkeepers for points, and still racks up saves when goals go in. Two must-win home fixtures make him a safe, high-floor pick.
- At the back, Perry Ng brings real attacking upside. He already has three goals this season and previously hit six in the Championship. Fully fit again, he attacks relentlessly and can deliver goals or assists.
- I’m pairing him with Curtis Nelson, who has made an immediate impact at MK Dons. He’s played every minute since arriving, scored once, and adds Championship-level reliability. In a back three, his clearance volume and clean-sheet potential keep his floor high.
- Midfield runs through Lewis Wing. He takes penalties, plays 90 minutes, and keeps scoring. Two home fixtures suit him perfectly, which is why he anchors the midfield again.
- Charlie Whitaker adds upside alongside him. He’s producing consistently, plays higher up the pitch than his position suggests, and now gets two home matches to exploit. That role gives him a clear path to returns.
- For Barnet, Mark Shelton remains central. He influences games in multiple ways and stays involved even without penalties. Two home fixtures against weaker opposition give him the platform to deliver.
- Up front, Callum Paterson wears the armband. He leads the MK Dons attack, takes penalties, and arrives in red-hot form. Four goals in four matches and strong fixtures make him the standout captain this week.
- For team picks, I’m backing MK Dons and Barnet. Both have two favourable home fixtures and the setup to push for maximum points.

NOTES
- Formation: 2-2-2
- Captain: Marvin Ekpiteta (MKD)
- Team Picks: MK Dons & Swindon
- Rank: 800
- My first red arrow arrives after what has been a very solid run of weeks. While 116 points in DGW28 was still a strong return, several managers posted huge hauls. As a result, attention now shifts firmly to DGW29.
- GK – Conor Ripley (SWI – 2.5% selected) – Firstly, I’m backing Conor Ripley, who heads into this round full of confidence after three consecutive clean sheets. During that spell, he has also added nine saves and even a saved penalty. Although both fixtures come away from home, there is a clear opportunity for a clean sheet against Shrewsbury, while Barnet also offers potential. Therefore, despite the lack of home advantage, the upside remains strong.
- DEFs – Perry Ng (CAR – 1.0% selected) & Marvin Ekpiteta (MKD – 0.0% selected) – Moving to defence, league leaders Cardiff City have two favourable home fixtures against Luton Town and AFC Wimbledon, both of whom have struggled for attacking consistency. In addition, Perry Ng arrives in good form, having recorded a goal, an assist and two clean sheets in his last three appearances. Alongside him, Marvin Ekpiteta provides both a high floor and attacking upside. Not only has he scored in each of his last two matches, but he also collects bonus points consistently. Furthermore, with two home fixtures against Newport County and Crawley Town, clean sheets look firmly in play.
- MIDs – Adam Phillips (BAR – 0.6% selected) & Charlie Whitaker (TRA – 0.2% selected) – In midfield, Adam Phillips benefits from two home fixtures against AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough United. Moreover, he arrives in strong scoring form, with four goals in his last six appearances. While his reduced minutes are worth monitoring, his role as the main penalty taker means the upside still outweighs the risk. Meanwhile, Charlie Whitaker continues to operate as Tranmere Rovers’ key attacking outlet. With strong involvement through key passes and shots on target, and favourable home fixtures against Crawley Town and Accrington Stanley, he has every chance to build on his 13 goal involvements this season.
- FWDs – Callum Paterson (MKD – 3.1% selected) & Aaron Drinan (SWI – 18.9% selected) – Up front, the selections are largely form-driven. Callum Paterson has been exceptional for MK Dons, producing eight goal involvements across his last six matches. Given that both Newport County and Crawley Town travel to Stadium MK, further returns look likely. Similarly, Aaron Drinan has maintained consistent output, registering six goal involvements in his last six games. Although both fixtures are away from home, matches against Shrewsbury Town and Barnet still present clear scoring opportunities.
- Team Picks: Overall, I’m prioritising teams with proven attacking strength. MK Dons, in particular, have excellent fixtures and the quality to secure wins in both matches. Swindon Town, on the other hand, face a slightly tougher challenge with two away fixtures; however, that only enhances the value of the away win bonus should they deliver.
