Nottingham Forest play host to Aston Villa and Burnley in the next two Gameweeks, followed by a trip to Sunderland.

Although Sunderland have made life difficult for others on Wearside this season, they have now lost three matches in a row on home turf.
In fact, all three of these teams are in the bottom half of the form table over the last six matches.
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers may consequently be tempted to punt on Elliot Anderson (£5.5m) or Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.4m).
In this Members Article, we run a comparison to assess which is the better option for our Fantasy teams.
GOAL THREAT
| Mins per goal | Mins per shot | Mins per shot in box | Mins per pen box touch | Mins per xG | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Anderson | 1,386.5 | 77.0 | 184.9 | 51.4 | 1,113.7 |
| Gibbs-White | 292.9 | 40.6 | 67.6 | 26.1 | 316.1 |
It’s three goals in four Gameweeks for Gibbs-White, with his strike against Tottenham Hotspur prior to the international break his ninth of the season, by far the most of any Forest player in the top-flight.
Furthermore, no Forest midfielder can better his rate of minutes per goal, shot, shot in the box or expected goal (xG).
Encouragingly, the appointment of Vitor Pereira hasn’t impacted those numbers, with Gibbs-White’s shot map in Gameweeks 27-31 captured below.

As for Anderson, his deep-lying role has limited his goal threat this season, but he has been granted a bit more freedom to attack under Pereira, with a shot every 48.1 minutes.
However, they have all been from distance, with his xG per attempt a mere 0.04:

Gibbs-White clearly comes out on top when it comes to goal threat, then, having recorded 12 Opta ‘big chances’ to Anderson’s two across the campaign.
