NOTES
- In goal, I’ve gone with Sam Tickle. Two decent fixtures and he feels like one of the safer routes to a clean sheet this week.
- At the back, Taylor Harwood-Bellis stands out. Strong fixtures, good bonus potential, and a real goal threat. Jack Tucker comes in alongside him, mainly for the floor. He should keep ticking over even if the clean sheet doesn’t land.
- In midfield, Rubin Colwill is one of the upside picks. The fixtures are decent and he’s always capable of a big return. Jack Payne joins him, Colchester’s talisman on penalties, while Finn Azaz completes the midfield and holds the armband for now, although that could still change.
- Up front, I’m backing Joe Taylor. The form isn’t great, but the fixtures are there and he offers one of the higher ceilings in what’s a pretty limited forward pool this week.
- Team picks are Southampton and Oldham Athletic. Both look strong this week, with the latter carrying plenty of upside.

NOTES
- Sam Tickle starts in goal with two home fixtures. He’s been solid at home, so I’m backing him again this week.
- I’ve gone with two at the back. Emmanuel Monthe comes in for his consistency across the season, while Taylor Harwood-Bellis offers strong upside with two home games and three clean sheets in his last three at home.
- In midfield, Finn Azaz stays. He’s been a huge part of Southampton’s form, with 18 goal contributions this season, and always looks dangerous. Terry Devlin joins him, mainly for the interceptions and steady points.
- Up front, Joe Taylor is hard to ignore with both fixtures at home. He’s partnered by Mike Fondop, who comes in off the back of strong form heading into these two games.
- Team picks are Southampton and Oldham Athletic. Southampton have two home games, while Oldham are away twice but face struggling sides, so there’s still plenty of upside there.
- The captaincy currently sits on Terry Devlin, but that could change closer to the deadline.
- Good luck!

NOTES
- I’ve gone for Sam Tickle in goal. Recent form and two home fixtures makes their defence appealing, and I’m not a huge fan of any defenders.
- Defence was easy to select this week. Oldham Athletic’s Emmanuel Monthe is a major standout and has been excellent all season. Meanwhile, Southampton play both of their clashes at home and have been in great form, so Taylor Harwood-Bellis is a shoo-in.
- I’m opting for two strikers this week which feels strange, but there are just better forward options this week. Finn Azaz has been massively influential for Southampton this season. I’m not yet convinced by captaincy yet, but I don’t see many other solid attacking options for the responsibility. He joins Isaac Hutchinson who has multiple routes to points and good fixtures. I was between him and Rubin Colwill, but Hutchinson just has better fixtures in my opinion.
- Up front Wigan’s Joe Taylor returns, even after he recently disappointed in a double. The fixtures are great and his side should have motivation to avoid relegation. David McGoldrick is more of a gut feeling pick. He’s been great this season and Barnsley have good fixtures, so he also looks good on paper. I don’t think many will go for him this week, which adds even more appeal.
- Team picks were easy, Southampton and Oldham feel like no-brainers. Both have good fixtures and both have motivation to do well.
