The official TFF Fantasy League gives Fantasy managers another game to get stuck into for the 2026/27 season.
The basic format will feel familiar to anyone who has played Fantasy Premier League (FPL). Managers build a 15-man squad, select a starting XI and choose a captain before each deadline.
There are some significant differences, though. Unlimited transfers, five different Manager Cards and some interesting variations in the scoring system give Türkiye Fantasy its own identity.
Here, we run through everything you need to know.
BUILDING YOUR SQUAD
Every manager receives a ₺100m budget to build a squad of 15 players.
Your squad must contain:
| Position | Players |
|---|---|
| Goalkeepers | 2 |
| Defenders | 5 |
| Midfielders | 5 |
| Forwards | 3 |
| Total | 15 |
You can select a maximum of three players from the same club.
SELECTING YOUR STARTING XI
From your 15-man squad, you’ll select 11 starters for each Gameweek.
Your starting XI must contain at least:
- One goalkeeper
- Three defenders
- One forward
That leaves managers with plenty of flexibility when deciding how to set up their side.
If one of your starters doesn’t play, automatic substitutions can kick in. A substitute who has featured can replace them, providing the resulting formation remains valid.
The formation restrictions can also be changed by using the Offense Manager Card, which we’ll come onto later.
CAPTAINCY
You’ll select a captain each Gameweek, whose points are doubled.
Türkiye Fantasy also offers two Manager Cards that can significantly increase the captaincy multiplier.
The Triplex Captain triples your captain’s score, while the Skipper-Up Captain quadruples it.
That could make captaincy – and knowing when to use those cards – particularly important over the course of the season.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
The deadline falls one hour before the first match of the Gameweek.
Managers can make unlimited changes to their squad before that point.
Once the deadline passes, your team is locked and saved as your final squad for that Gameweek.
HOW DOES THE SCORING WORK?
There are plenty of familiar routes to points, including goals, assists, clean sheets and saves.
However, there are a few differences worth knowing.
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Plays up to 60 minutes | 1 |
| Plays more than 60 minutes | 2 |
| Goal scored by goalkeeper | 10 |
| Goal scored by defender | 6 |
| Goal scored by midfielder | 5 |
| Goal scored by forward | 4 |
| Assist | 3 |
| Goalkeeper/defender clean sheet | 4 |
| Midfielder clean sheet | 1 |
| Every three goalkeeper saves | 1 |
| Penalty save | 5 |
| Penalty miss | -2 |
| Every two goals conceded by goalkeeper/defender | -1 |
| Yellow card | -1 |
| Red card | -3 |
| Own goal | -2 |
Goalkeepers and defenders must play at least 60 minutes to qualify for clean-sheet points. The same applies to midfielders collecting their one-point clean-sheet reward.
BONUS POINTS
There is also a bonus-point system.
The three highest-scoring players in each match receive additional points:
| Rank | Bonus |
|---|---|
| 1st | 3 points |
| 2nd | 2 points |
| 3rd | 1 point |
If multiple players finish level on the same score, they also receive the corresponding bonus award.
That gives players another route to Fantasy returns beyond the traditional goals, assists and clean sheets.
HOW DO TRANSFERS WORK?
This is where Türkiye Fantasy differs significantly from FPL.
There is no transfer limit.
Managers can make unlimited transfers, providing their new squad continues to meet the budget, positional and club restrictions.
That gives us much more freedom to target fixtures and react to team news throughout the campaign.
WHAT ARE MANAGER CARDS?
Instead of traditional chips, Türkiye Fantasy features five Manager Cards.
Each one changes an important element of your team for the Gameweek in which it is activated.
| Manager Card | What it does |
|---|---|
| Triplex Captain | Your captain scores triple points |
| Skipper-Up Captain | Your captain scores quadruple points |
| Whole Team to the Field | Points from your substitutes also count |
| Offense | Unlocks more attacking formations and gives you an additional ₺5m budget for that Gameweek |
| Unlimited Budget | Allows transfers without the normal budget restriction |
Only one Manager Card can be active at a time.
Once a card has been activated or purchased, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
That should make timing these boosts one of the biggest strategic decisions of the season.
HOW DO LEAGUES WORK?
Creating a team automatically enters you into three public leagues.
The Overall League contains every manager in the game. You’ll also enter a Country League based on the nation selected in your profile and a Favourite Team League alongside supporters who selected the same club.
Managers can also create private leagues and invite friends to compete.
The system-created leagues use a classic format, with your points accumulating across the 34 Gameweeks to determine your final position.
User-created leagues can instead use either the classic system or a head-to-head format.
HOW DO THE CUPS WORK?
Türkiye Fantasy also features knockout competitions.
There are three:
- Overall Cup
- Country Cup
- Favourite Team Cup
Cup competitions begin according to the game’s designated calendar.
Once underway, managers are paired against another Fantasy team in knockout matches. Win the tie and you progress to the next round; lose and your cup run is over.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The foundations of Türkiye Fantasy should be straightforward for experienced Fantasy managers to pick up.
But there are enough differences to make it interesting.
Unlimited transfers create much more scope for fixture targeting, while the five Manager Cards introduce some potentially huge strategic decisions. A quadruple captain and temporary unlimited budget, in particular, could produce enormous swings when used at the right time.
With 34 Gameweeks to negotiate, getting those calls right could prove just as important as picking the players themselves.
