Everton take on Manchester United in the penultimate fixture of Gameweek 3.

Kick-off at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is at 14:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Man Utd’s head coach, Michael Carrick, has unsurprisingly named an unchanged side after the victory over Ipswich Town last week.

Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha, Marcus Rashford and Bryan Mbeumo, the most-transferred out player of Gameweek 3, are all starting.

Mason Mount is fit enough to take his place on the bench.

As for Everton boss David Moyes, he makes only one alteration from Gameweek 2.

Brennan Johnson comes in to replace Iliman Ndiaye following his move to Manchester City.

Deadline day arrivals Jack Grealish and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are both substitutes.

LINE-UPS

Everton XI: Pickford, Rohl, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Armstrong, Garner, Johnson, Dewsbury-Hall, George, Barry

Subs: Travers, Maitland-Niles, Keane, Grealish, O’Brien, Dibling, Alcaraz, Hackney, Graham

Manchester United XI: Lammens, Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw, Tielemans, Mainoo, Mbeumo, Fernandes, Rashford, Cunha

Subs: Darlow, Heaven, Mazraoui, Yoro, Santos, Dorgu, Mount, Sesko, Zirkzee

Looks like Man Utd and Everton will be battling it out for the conference leagues places this season then. Terrible quality.

If they’re lucky…2 very limited teams, awful fare

Yeah, but at least Everton are always tough to beat.

A: Start all 3 of Haaland, Semenyo and Cherki and roll FT
B: Brobbey -> Wissa/DCL/Barry and bench one of the above

    *WCing during the IB

      Easy A.

Any of the B strikers could do well, but confident enough in them scoring higher enough compared to the City boys to be worth a FT? Not for me

Bruno must feel hopless trying to press when Rashford and Mbeumo are just standing and watching...

Whats your thoughts of multiple players from same team?

    ie 3 Arsenal 3 Chelsea 2 city

Is it better to spread the funds or is it just great having lots from those 3 teams?

      Just great having 3 ManU

That was a strategy for week 1 and 2 only if you went that way. Get rid of 2 already

Treat each player independently. If you think (eg) Cherki is a top 5 midfielder and that Foden is a top 5, then they're both great options. Get them both. (I don't think they are personally, just an example)

Only times you should consider how many you already have from the team are:
1 - you want more than 3 and need to prioritise which 3
2 - they have a fixture torn coming soon and you know you'll want to transfer them out. You don't want to be booking in 2/3 transfers in this case.

3 ars and 3 Chelsea is overkill.
Double ars def is destroyed by 1 goal
Palmer and roger aint on form so without penalties you aint gettjng any GA
Saka is too inconsistent to merit that price.

2 arsenal - raya or cal plus tzolis/odegard/saka if you must, 3 city - haaland and cherki and gvardiol and maybe 2 Chelsea with JP and Rogers or hato/colwill makes more sense

This game needs a Mbeumo goal

    1. Makes great runs from outside to in, but not being found.

Hate watching Rashford play. He literally only runs full pelt when he has a chance to score himself

    1. True, doesn’t seem able to create for others

Actually thought he’s been decent today, especially with his linkup with Shaw.

Cunha hasn’t been great at all. Needs more Sesko for Rashford and Mbeumo crosses

Cunha been awful as well just quality wise. The thing about rashford is he would have been a good player if he put in effort but hes just an egotistical trash teammate

Very true, but u have been mildly surprised by him since he’s come back this season, considering I was one of his (many many) biggest critics!

Was about to say, I thought he’d be closer to the 10 as is after that half!

    2. Not sure why. Benched him vs this toothless Everton side.

Garner and Branthwaite keeping them in it.

Mbeumo and Cunha are woeful but always have a chance of getting something with Bruno there. Was expecting Shaw to be on 5/6 defcon after watching the first half but he's on 2...

Defenders not getting DefCon for recoveries is ridiculous

Do we think Palmer gets anything later.

  17. Which option here? Palmer (C) and JP already in my team… original idea was to do B, but I think he’s very unlucky not to not haul again vs Cov and looks to have great partnership with Haaland….

    A) roll FT
    B) Cherki > Rogers
    C) Szobo > Rogers

I have money ITB enough to do C with 1FT.
