    1FT, 0.7m ITB. Team for GW35 is:

    Darlow (Robles)
    Bellerin Gabriel Sakho Simpson (Smalling)
    Sanchez Coutinho Firmino (Payet Lanzini)
    Aguero (Lukaku Martial)

I need to take a hit to get 11 on the field, and even there there are some rotation headaches.

Lukaku and Martial to Kane and Defoe worth a hit?

The only transfer I can think of right now is Alli and Kane.

Going another week without them is rock n roll suicide.

need alli and kane this week, and going by klopp's comments, sturridge will be benched today and start vs newcastle

At first glance Everton seem like they have very favorable fixtures from now until the end of the season after their blank. But a closer look tells a different story I think.
Blank, Bournmouth at home should be their only easy game, because both Sunderland (fighting for their survival) & Leic (fighting for the title) away from home are not easy games at all in the circumstances. Then if Norwich still have a chance of staying up in GW38, that game also becomes more difficult. All this coupled with Everton's awful form make their assets seem like dead rubber to me. Goodbye Lukaku! (and good riddance you troll)

    3. Ruth_NZ
      • 10 Years

      Aguero to Kane for free.

Aguero won't play 90 minutes 3 days before a CL semi-final and may not even start. Same applies in GW36. Kane will get you more points over the next 2 games.

You can already field 11 next weekend so no hit is needed.

I likely everyone else on here is hoping their players start the games over the next couple of days but I am absolutely dreading GW 35 with Gabriel Mangala and 3 Pool players in my team along with MU & WH players that blank. Could end up fielding 5 or 6 🙁

Don't worry 5-6 out could be great. If people thought 34 was bad for rotation wait til 35.

    2. Ruth_NZ

Liverpool have 5 days before the EL semi-final, GW36 is the one to worry about for them, not so much GW35. City players are a different story, however.

    ................Darlow
    Monreal - Gabriel - Sakho - Simpson
    .....Sanchez- Cout - Firminho
    ................Kun

Players not playing GW35: Robles,Smalling, Lanzini, Payet, Martial, Trollkaku
    1 FT & 0.7 ITB

I have my worries about all my Pool players now for 35, but as I already have 5 guaranteed outfield non-starters I should shelve Cout > Alli for now and concentrate on getting out players who have blanks for assured starters.
Think I'm all set on doing:
    Lukaku > Kane
Martial > Defoe (really fancy him to score well as Sun fight for survival)

    Migs, Robles
    Bellerin, Gabriel, Fosu-Mensah, Simpson, Reid
    Sanchez, Payet, Coutinho, Mahrez, Bolasie

Who would you suggest though? Only 8.9m to spend, Spurs or ManC midfielder makes most sense. So I guess either Eriksen or Yaya?

Almost the same as me below. Coutinho below is a doubt for 35 and especially 36 inbetween Europa ties. Why not get rid of him. How much would you have left for a mid if you put Kane in for Mitro. Any ITB?

Looking for some advice much the same as every damn fool out there
Would appreciate your sexy eyes on my team.

    Robles/Darlow

    Bellers TFM Rojo Sakho Simpson
    Sanchez Ozil Payet Milner Lanzini
    Kun Sturridge Mitrovic

    1.6m ITB, 1FT

    Would you
    A) Sturridge > Kane
    B) Mitro > Defoe
    C) Ozil/MItro > Alli/Kane (-4)
    D) Payet/Mitro > Alli/Kane (-4)
    E) Milner/Mitro > Alli/Defoe (-4)
    F) Something else

It's not a very sexy transfer, but I feel u need to get rid of one of the Utd DFers. Neither nailed and both have a blank. I'd try to fit in Kane & PVA (or Rose/Walker) for a -4

      1. bigbudgie
        • 11 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

Thanks. Tempted with Kirchoff over PVA.
I'm hanging on to the hope that TFM AND Rojo are part of the first choice defense that comes back in this GW. Rojo always plays when fit. Just his minutes that are a problem. TFM is the concern, but at worst he's a cheap bench fodder albeit taking up a United slot

I would do D, then get Payet back for GW37.

Ozil has Sunderland and Norwich next.

Hmm whichever downgrade I do it's a one way thing for a Kun Kane Sturridge frontline. There's no going back and it would be too much gymnastics and probably another hit

How many minutes will Sturridge play vs Everton?

How many minutes will Aguero play vs Stoke?

I think Aguero starts maybe comes off after 60.

Sturridge I don't know because Origi is declared fit. Studge might be benched but then play the last 20/30, and then start in 35. I say that because Origi has been starting in Europe...and that sequence would work well leading up to Europa first leg

I agree with Budgie up here. Aguero seems to always start when he's fit, whereas Klopp's lineups these days are anyone's guess.

This is my team for GW35. Need to make two or three transfers (* indicates no game)

    DDG* - Robles*
    Bellerin - Gabriel - Sakho - Simpson - Fosu-Mensah*
    Sanchez - Coutinho - KDB - Payet* - Lanzini*
    Aguero - Mitrovic - Martial *

3.2 ITB. So 9 players who might start. Although Sakho, Coutinho, KDB, Aguero and Mitrovic are all in danger of being benched/rotated.

I want to bring in Alli. Have been burned in my ML the last couple of weeks. Luckily he's cheap.
    Some options I'm concidering:
    A. Fosu-Mensah -> Sunderland defender, probably Van Aanholt or Kirchoff
    B. Coutinho, Lanzini or KDB -> Alli
    C. Martial or Mitrovic -> Defoe or maybe Kane

    Thoughts much appreciated.

That's what I am doing on Friday as well. So sick of Klopp's rotations and I really miss my Kane/Alli/Toby points, prior to this ridiculous WC/BB planning.

I see we have almost the exact same team.
          Bellerin/Koscielny - Sakho/Lovren - Fosu-Mensah/Delaney - DDG/Darlow, else everything is the same.

Wish I had your rank though 🙂

Thanks but for the first time in my FPL career, I went all-in in a WC/BB strategy, prior to DGW, instead of balanced WC team, keeping the top form players, as I usually do.
Greed never pays off, and I'll never do it again.

In order to bring back Kane and have a front three of Kane, Aguero and Sturridge, I'd need to do a -4 and do Ozil > Mane (already have Sanchez) what's reckon?

Looks like I'm going to be stranded 50 points behind mini league leaders and 50 ahead of rivals.

Thoughts on the following for a minus 12 in order to get a strong team out?

    Coutinho, kdb, martial, mitro
    To
    Alli, Townsend, kane, pelle

    Current team is

    Robles darlow
    Bellerin sakho Gabriel Simpson smalling
    Sanchez payet lanzini coutinho kdb
    Kun mitrovic martial

Alternative seems to be risk of 8 or 9 playing due to rotation..
    Thanks!
