Saturday’s early kick-off is a significant one.

Liverpool park up at the Liberty Stadium with their rich array of midfield talent heavily backed by Fantasy managers.

Adam Lallana is the latest flavour of the month – snapped up by 195460 new owners heading into Friday’s deadline, the former Saint will be looking to maintain flourishing early season form.

Phillipe Coutinho is just a few thousand behind his team-mate in terms of transfer traffic this week, as the Brazilian goes on defying his initial price tag to challenge the genuine heavy-hitters.

Both returned double figures in the 5-1 demolition of Hull City but, just maybe, it could be Roberto Firmino’s turn this time around.

Tipped as our weapon of choice heading into the season, we’ve since elevated Sadio Mane above him in our Watchlist rankings.

In truth, at this point, none of us can be certain on the one single member of Klopp’s midfield to target. We’re all hoping that today’s encounter will shed some light on the problem.

That’s presuming that Swansea City have read the script.

Swans’ boss Francesco Guidolin appears to be clinging to his job and that might just spur a determined display – they certainly showed enough against Chelsea and Manchester City to indicate that this will not be an easy afternoon for the visitors.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Guidolin speaks exceptional English. Hard to tell he's a foreigner.

I wish Klopp spoke it that well. 🙂

With his injury record I doubt other clubs would eagerly splash the cash on him

Would he want to leave though? Probably knows he hasn't got much football left in him. Maybe next step is the MLS retirement home.

He is still a fantastic player and will play a part this season. Like someone above said he is too injury prone for many others teams to take a risk on him.

Watching Wenger on Football Focus, speaking about his decisions to stay with Arsenal despite having lots of approaches from other clubs. However, he felt loyalty compelled to stay and finish the work being done - despite not having the funding they would have wished for.

Whatever you think of him, you absolutely have to respect the guy for his allegiance to his club.

can someone talk me out of transfering capoue to gundogan. I have rondon as 3rd striker but want my 5th mid to play and bench rondon for west broms next 3 games.
as a 5.4 mid from city that already has a goal in 2 games and should have had another v swans last week.
seems to be playing a very attacking position and a very cheap option in citys midfield.

Feel sorry for Swansea. Couldn't stop all their best players leaving and didn't replace them as well as Southampton have managed to do who have a similar problem.

Swansea will get spanked, their manager will be sacked, and good luck to the next guy because he'll have no chance. If they don't invest well in January they will be relegated.
