I'd rather have Elmander this weekend but Drog for the season, however Newcastle will be without Williamson and Collicini it looks like so Drog could clean up.
Yep that tweet about Williamson is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I was really thinking about dropping Drog for Tevez, but the fact that Newc' won't have either first choice CB this weekend is a delicious prospect for Drog owners.

Yeah I was also thinking of using the time to improve my defense. I want to hang on to Adam, but I might get rid of Bosingwa for someone cheaper to free up some funds. It's great when he plays, but I don't want someone who's a rotation risk every week.

Drogs has 9 shots in Saturday, 5 on target, 2 off and 2 blocked (hitting the woodwork included). Tevez had 3 shotsin total, 2 goals, one deflection and one from offside. So u decide.

Ha ha. Good call but think like this. For less paid money u can get returns and use the cash for mids and defenders. What kind of advantage u'll have compared to the lads with 2 expensive or even 3 expensive forwards.
do you think carroll with bad fixtures will outscore elmander/odemwingie with good fixtures? If not then he's hardly worth keeping for the season, just sell him and buy him back later on.

The only reason I can think of is "I'm winning my mini league by too much and want to get rid of a player who is scoring well so my rivals can catch up"

boateng to kolarov may seem a side ways move but is well worth doing imo, or consider using yous 1.2 to upgrade feguson and give yourself more options to play the fixtures. Drog to tevez is another worth considering though it could backfire.

Dann will come on. I'm in the same boat. Some of my rivals have Dann coming on too, even though he isn't the first sub.

If I had to rank Steinsson, Faye and Dann for the previous weekend I'd have gone for exactly the same order as he did.
He got very lucky of course, but his decision-making was sound enough.
This is the game man. If the shoe was on the other foot I'm sure you'd be delighted. I get more frustrated with the emergency captain rule when someone's captain doesn't play but they get lucky and it switches to someone with epic points.

Yeah I have someone who had O'Shea in his starting XI, and Berbatov, and in comes Dann. This is the second week this has happened (with Dann), and I cant lie its a bit annoying.
So far this season, Dann has come into his side 3 times from the bench with a clean sheet!
There comes the time where the luck appears. Yeah Dann will come in.

Kolarov had 2 goal attempts, one on target. Seems like a good option so i think I am gonna have both. Kolarov next GW, I see City conceding this GW. So I'll have to decide where the big cash in defense is more wise? Utd or Che defender (Essien is back).

RvP is only 27! And isn't Arsenal's problem that they have too MUCH youth and not enough experience? Chamakh has the potential to be just half the player that RvP currently is. This is crazy talk!

RvP's problem is that he gets injured a lot, not that he was good when he was 24 and has done nothing since.
I'm really on your side here and I absolutely don't think Chamakh is better than him in any way, but I do think people are a bit hard on Chamakh on here.
He looks low on confidence at the moment but I think he has the qualities to be a good player for Arsenal if some things work out in his way.
RVP averages only 11 league goals a season, when he actually plays more than 20 games.

I need to sort my defence out and replace ELmo with Bardsley but I hear he could be a risk once Ferdinand is back. Anyone have ideas on this? Who else is there as a cheapo defender (3.9-4.3m) that actually keeps clean sheets? I looked at Foley but Wolves leak goals constantly. Such a wounder I picked Jussi over Foster this week. Would seem like the obvious choice but it hurt me last year also, I had Hart and Dann on the bench when they drew 0-0 last season.
