Gameweek 35 rolls on with another big fixture for Fantasy managers as champions Manchester City host relegation-threatened Swansea at the Etihad Stadium.
The home side features the two most signed players ahead of Saturday’s deadline, with both Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus named in their strong starting line-up.
Sterling was acquired by over 327,000 managers having delivered two goals and three assists from is last four Gameweek starts.
But striker Jesus has proved even more popular. The injury to Sergio Aguero has paved the way for the Brazilian to command a regular starting role over Man City’s remaining five fixtures, continuing today. He was snapped up by 375,000+ ahead of Gameweek 35 and is also captained by 272,000+ (4.6%).
Around that pair, City have a number of explosive assets capable of delivering big scores.
Kevin De Bruyne, as part of 22.3% of squads, has the ability to play a significant role in this match and Gameweek 35, though the Belgian is without a goal in his last eight Gameweek appearances (7 starts), which have produced four assists and just two bonus points.
Meanwhile, David Silva was brought in by 84,000+ but is owned by a relatively modest 12.3%, he has three goals and three assists from his last six Gameweek appearances. Winger Leroy Sane has an identical ownership but finds himself dropped to the bench today, ending a run of six successive starts.
That isn’t the only teamsheet tweak to annoy Fantasy managers. Both Kyle Walker and Nicolas Otemendi also start in reserve, boasting a combined ownership of 2.4 million managers.
