His name has always been Joe Lepper on his team entry. I guess Jonty was a nickname he was given but has finally told people he hates. I used to work with a guy we all called “little bobby”. He finally told everybody he hated it. So we called him it even more.

The assist being given clearly contradicts the assist rules stated by the fpl. If they are willing to ignore their own rules it undermines the whole point of them and sets a dangerous precedent going forward. It's a matter of principal not points .

I didnt see the assist. I read somr of the complaints. Sounds like it wasnt clear cut. I personally dont see nothing wrong with questioning a decision within reason. Non sanchez owner. I wouldn't bother questioning it. Very early days. Only a game !!!

The assist is clear, Sanchez made the hands situation happen.
I wrote to FPL about a quite similar situation last year, after my friends and I had a discussion:
Q: If player A shoots, the keeper saves and the ball goes to his own defender who scores an own goal, will player A get an assist?
A:Yes, an assist would be awarded in this instance, based on the following ruling -
If a shot on goal is blocked by an opposition player, is saved by a goalkeeper or hits the woodwork, and a goal is scored from the rebound, then an assist is awarded.
