While there are still three matches of Gameweek 11 to go, we are opening up the FPL Question Time form once again ahead of the last set of Premier League fixtures before the November international break.

We have assembled another panel of well-known Fantasy managers – two of whom are former winners – to answer your queries ahead of Gameweek 12.

You can find out what they have to say about some of your questions on Tuesday.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Lejuan Basson – A South Africa-based FPL manager who finished an enviable 24th in the world in 2017/18.

Ben Crabtree – A proud Evertonian and the overall winner of FPL in 2016/17.

Simon March – Another of the select group to have finished first in the world, this time in 2014/15.

I really want Arsenal attacking cover by GW16. Does anyone see any viable options emerging from the midfield before then, or do I need to find the money for Laca or Auba? Also want Kane for that period so will be a stretch.

Why on earth do you want Kane? Alli and Trippier surely better options

Around the same period that Kun will inevitably be rotated once midweek games kick in. A nailed Kane as captain in those home games could be a golden differential for the festive period (expect I will WC just before GW20 so it's a short-term punt).

Could be, but that's based on past season's hope more than anything. Literally nothing points towards him being a good option this season. I'd rather get another heavy hitter in midfield and a value forward

Who do you think is the best replacement for Mitrovic?

    a) Murray
    b) Wilson
    c) Jimenez

I'll admit, Jimenez wasn't even on my radar until last night. I'm still not too keen on him tbh, but he would allow me to do Maddison > Martial for free the following week.

I'm going to either do Murray for Mitrovic, or downgrade him to a cheapo and upgrade elsewhere. Had Jiminez for a few weeks. Wolves don't score many goals and he is more likely to assist than score. Think I've missed the boat on Wilson, not bringing him in for those fixtures regardless of his form.

Shaw was out of favour now he plays every week. Martial is proving himself. Mourinho no longer has to play Sanchez and lukaku so I don’t see a major risk tbh

Utd have a real lack of depth in fullback areas. Its not the case in attack

When Sanchez was first signed he had to be played but he isn’t a new signing and injury took that decision away from Mourinho - Utd player better. Now he’s benched him and the team has performed better again, same with lukaku - These players were always getting played regardless of form now it’s form that is deciding - martial would have to have more than two bad minutes - a couple of games maybe

Sounds like you trying to talk yourself out of getting him. At his price it’s a no brainer. Utd clearly on the turn and after city they have palace saints Fulham Cardiff Huddersfield in 5 of next 7. And he doesn’t have any genuine competition with the form he’s in he’s their current goal getter

At his price he can easily be converted to felipe/siggy/lamelq whoever hits form consistently. Problem is getting as except high value teams, one of kun/haz/salah/alonso/mendy/robertson have to make way

Mitro is the only problem in your team so that is probably where to start. Maddo has a brilliant fixture this week so would hold.

Martial has to be trap although I guess we thought Shaw would also be dropped at some point.

This season teams have to play 9 games between the 3rd international break and FAC 3rd round. Last season it was 11. Additionally, the Xmas fixture compression is relatively mild, most teams play 4 games over 11 or 12 days and as no team plays with less than 2 days' rest (Saturday-Tuesday or equivalent) there is nothing there that PL clubs don't customarily handle.

Some teams will have to play opponents with a day more rest than them over this period and that could have a marginal effect but I'd say that the schedule is such that the bigger teams will likely rotate a bit (as they usually do) but that no team should be forced into wholesale changes.

There is no real need for an especially strong bench over Xmas, not based on the timetable anyway.

You did that yourself, mate. 🙂

There are reasons to have a slightly stronger bench this season, Pep's disposition for rotation being one. But the fixture schedule isn't really one of them.

perereira before burnley home match??He is nailed now after amartey incident and though was unlucky to not get attacking returns.Keep him till gw15 fulham(a) match.Obiang to hudson can get u 0.2 itb .Is that enough for mitro to arnie?

It is but I'd like more breathing space. Was Pereira good? Been a bit of a let down since I got him.

Other option is Kenedy to Camarasa.

Had 2 free transfers. Done Mitro to Wilson last night before his rise. Plan on changing formation to a 352.

Aguero & Hojberg to Success & Mané on the cards.

Those pesky 2FTs again and 0.6m

    Ryan, Button
    Alonso, Robbo, Laporte, Doherty, Balbuena
    Haz, Salah, Rich, Fraser, Murphy
    Kun, Arnie, Jimenez

    Any thoughts?

Nothing I’d change there to be honest and any transfer would be a forced one I think although I would be weary of no Wilson

Yep. Pretty happy with my front three.

Hoping Fraser kicks in again with some BOU points.

He could have easily got some points yesterday had a couple of chances to be fair. I’m keeping faith with Bournemouth only fixture I’m worried about is the city game every other game I can see them bagging goals

    A horrendous day yday on FPL, 7 points out of 4 players, my leads in leagues nearly wiped out, and now I’m thinking of a mini cull for a -8, namely;
    Mitrovic > Arnie
    Zaha > Lacazette
    Salah > Mane

    Knee jerk or worth it?

No. Selling Salah before Fulham as part of a -8 is criminal.

Wouldn’t sell salah but you definitely need to get rid of Zaha he’s costing you even if he does do something today and I’d also plan to get arnie for Mitro as West Ham’s fixtures are too good to pass on

Dropped to 1,106 OR. 30 points yesterday.

Got Walker, Luiz, Hazard & Aguero (C)

Maddison proving ever so difficult to keep hold of, but fixtures say otherwise - Burnley look shocking at the back.

Maddison is an issue. Worth holding for Burnley (H) if he blanks again then surely he has to go over the IB.

Dependent on Huddersfield's performance vs Fulham, I'd look towards Anderson for a straight swap. He's looked increasingly lively, I can see a strong run of form with his favourable fixtures ahead.

I'd settle for kun out (Jimenez first sub) even though he is my captain, but I'd better be careful what I wish for cos mendy is my vc and he is more likely to be rotated after his performance last week.
Looking forward with trepidation to city and Chelsea team sheets. Have hazard, Alonso and Barclay plus the two city to play and I need the points, 28 so far.
              Good luck to all.

Any views on this team? Thinking Mitro to Wilson barring some big Mitro explosion today.

    Foster, (Hamer)
    Robertson, Alonso, Laporte, (AWB, Bennett)
    Salah, Hazard, Richarlison, Fraser, (Hojbjerg)
    Aguero, Arnie, Mitrovic

Got nothing in the bank and 1 FT.
