Scoutcast Episode 275 – Thirties

With scores all in the thirties, Gameweek 13 was one to forget for the Scoutcast crew.

After forcing themselves to relive this dire set of points, Az, David, Luke and Joe dust themselves off and look ahead to better times.

Manchester City’s wealth of midfield options come under particular scrutiny during the community questions segment. A total of 44 points from David Silva, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling against West Ham last weekend makes this is a group of players that demand attention.

Tottenham’s emerging assets in the centre of the park have also caught the community’s collective eye.

Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen all impressed in the north London side’s victory over Chelsea at the weekend. However, the Scoutcast crew are more interested in their premium-priced teammate Harry Kane to help them take advantage of Spurs’ kind set of festive fixtures.

Elsewhere, David reveals some notable team frailties and the players who are set to exploit them over December. Gylfi Sigurdsson is looking such a strong option in this regard that Joe wishes there could be two of the Everton set-piece specialist to draft into his squad.

Differentials, clean sheets, captaincy and transfer plans are also discussed. With the festive fixture list stepping up a gear, this covers both Gameweeks 14 and 15 as both take place during a frantic six-day block of Premier League matches starting this Friday.

    As a ‘Pool and FPL fan this is a double blow. Thursday night football that Klopp will still want to win is going to mean even more uncertainty of starts and less recovery time. Still don’t want to ditch Salah though!

    Im doing Hazard -> Sterling.

    Hazard is injured. Last time he was, he started from the bench. Chelsea was smashed last week. Fulham with new manager effect. Sterling is a sure asset playing in the best team in the league. Who is with me?

    Fabi
    Laporte Alonso Robbo TAA Bennet
    Sterling Salah Richarlison

    1) Camarasa (EVE)
    2) Richarlison (liv)
    3) Ings (MUN)
    4) Fraser (mci)

    Do people still want to invest heavily in Spurs for their "good run of fixtures"?
    They need a result against Barcelona at Camp Nou as good as what Inter has against PSV in San Siro. They are going to go all in at Camp Nou. They also have an EFL match against, of all sides, Arsenal. That is not a game to fool around either. Surely there will be a lot of rotation in PL games.

      Kane doesn't get rotated
      Eriksen and Alli have missed a lot of games at the start so should be starting as well
      I think the ones that get rotated are Son, Moura and Lamela and the full backs

    Salah & Richy > Sané & Sterling

    Yes or No

    Will give me;

    Alisson, Foster
    TTA, Alonso, WanB, Doch, Vinegra
    Hazard, Sané, Sterling, Fraser, Diaga
    Aguero, Arnie, Wilson.

    Have option to do Wilson > Jimmy & Aguero > Kane in following week if Kane improves.

      Sarri says Victor Moses has a back problem so won't be able to play tomorrow. He says Eden Hazard's injury isn't serious and he should be able to play against Fulham on Sunday. #CFCvPAOK

      Sarri: "I am worried that Hazard had a back injury and now ankle. He has lost a lot of training, so it is normal he is not at the top of his physical condition. This week it is useful for him to have training. He cannot play 10 matches in 30 days - sometimes he has to rest." #CFC
