The best West Ham players for their appealing fixtures

West Ham players are now on the Fantasy Premier League radar after their 3-1 win over Watford.

The Hammers have also have a favourable streak of fixtures coming up to further interest in their assets.

Norwich come to the London Stadium in Gameweek 4 having conceded eight goals in their first three matches of the season.

After that, West Ham travel to newly-promoted Aston Villa, who have just one clean sheet in 2019/20 thus far, which came against a goal-shy Everton side last Friday.

Manchester United and Crystal Palace are the next two sides to travel to East London (in Gameweeks 6 and 8 respectively), before Manuel Pellegrini’s men travel to Bournemouth and Everton.

However, Fantasy managers will still have to ensure they choose the right West Ham player to capitalise on the form and fixtures.

We have gone over the numbers from their first three matches of 2019/20 to work out who that might be.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the new campaign can access it in full.

Worth keeping Dan James? Seen a lot of criticism against him but has two goals in three games; can anyone shed some light?

2.78 shots per 90 and no key passes. Not great. Mount has better under-lying stats at that price point.

Cheers mate! Currently priced out of mount and unsure if it's worth a -4 to get him out, may make the switch to McGinn for a few weeks.

    How’s this WC looking...

    Pope
    Mina, AWB, Zinchenko
    McGinn, Salah, Sterling, Mount, Martial
    Pukki, Aguero

Subs- Kelly, Lundstram etc - team good enough?

I gotta say I prefer this structure with a premium forward alongside Pukki. I personally plan on going with Auba but I can see why you've gone with Aguero. Easy downgrade anyway.

I recon your team is brilliant.

If Martial is out for Southampton game:

A: Martial to KDB and keep Perez

B: Perez to KDB and play Greenwood for Martial

Talk me out of this WC team

    Pope
    Laporte VVD Digne Lundstram
    Salah Sterling Mount McGinn
    Aguero Pukki

    Button Cantwell Kelly Greenwood

Basically have to play 2 of Lundstram, McGinn and Cantwell. Rest of the team feels strong.

    Would probably captain aguero.

Start Cantwell over Lundstram this week!

Team looks great - if only Kelly could become a 4.5 (like Söyüncü or Guilbert) to give you one more option to play each week in rotation with Lundstram / Cantwell

      Play Cantwell over Lundstram.

Once you eventually downgrade Aguero (save FT first, then use 2x FT to switch?), you can afford to upgrade either Kelly (4-4-2) or Greenwood (3-4-3).

They are all super players but I wouldnt want to miss out on Salah. Playing the fixtures is still key, and spending so much of your attacking budget on 3 players from the same term will lessen your ability to do that/could screw you if City play a couple of teams who put 11 players behind the ball. I'd opt for Aguero and Sterling if you want big points now, and Sterling and KDB if you want guaranteed points throughout the season.

Last 2 GW clean sheets lol. Liverpool may have a 'shaky' defence at the moment, does not make Cit's any better unless their defensive assets were hauling 🙁

Joe, Luke and Az are actually 3rd, 6th and 10th in Mods and Cons.

Either LiveFPL or FPL gave an extremely inaccurate update at one point, which they have since corrected.

The real top 3 are FPL Fairy, Mark and Joe.

Doesn't seem cost-effective unless Sterling gets at least a brace and both Son and Sigurdsson blank.
If it were for a -4 I'd say yes, but at -8 you're really rolling the dice.

Which of these looks better for a -4?

    A) Kane + Walker to Aguero + Matip

    B) Kane + Otamendi to Aguero + Guilbert

    C) Keep Kane and use FT on Otamendi if Pep says Stones is back

It does look good but as a WC It’s a bit too punty / ‘alternative’ for me

I just don’t think you can go without Sterling - no Liverpool defence will also become an issue at some point

I'd personally go with Lanzini and 'downgrade' to Mount in a few weeks time. Don't like Chelsea's fixtures in GW5&GW6.

Easiest way to get KDB in for Sigurdsson, that’s all.

Plan to do Jota to Haller this week I think leaving 0.6 ITB, and the following team:

        Pope 4.0
        TAA VVD Digne Zinchenko Rico
        Salah Sterling Sigurdsson Mount Dendoncker
        Pukki Haller* Greenwood

        Tough

On a WC, but I am 0.7 over budget, any ideas?

    Pope, Heaton,
    TAA, Digne, Dunk, Soyuncu, Lundstrum
    Salah, Sterling, KDB, Mount, Cantwell,
    Pukki, Abraham, Barnes

Get rid of one of the keepers to a 4.0 is an easy 0.5
